17/4/2024 17:05 | Looking great value at these prices. But not for the timid. | plasybryn

19/3/2024 07:23 | Day traders should make money today | janekane
26/2/2024 16:24 | They will need to finance the new mine so i guess everything gets thrown into the melting pot. I believe there is lots of interest to finance this one way or another, as it will be a World Class mine. Very sketchy details so far but i don't think they see it as a problem given the iRR and projected payback over 38 years plus. | plasybryn
26/2/2024 15:08 | They had approx.$93mm in June 23. Any ideas on the cash burn since then? | mondex
26/2/2024 13:55 | Small world Plasybryn, Tony Surridge recruited him. I see the market is unimpressed by the 1/2 yr announcement! | mondex
26/2/2024 10:04 | Unless I have totally misunderstood the situation, they will have a gap between the end of operations at Kwale and the start of commercial operations at Toliara during which they will have no income. The longer it takes to close their negotiations with the Madagascan government, the longer this gap will obviously be. Do they have enough cash to see them through this period? | mjneish
26/2/2024 09:47 | How interesting. Perhaps he worked for Tony Surridge. Did you listen to the webcast? Much more active involvement with Govt. Had 2 hour meeting with President and papers going back & forth each week apparently. Govt speaking more openly about it in public as well. Agreement of Terms now scheduled for July 2024. | plasybryn
26/2/2024 08:25 | Yes Plasybryn I am primarily an income investor but see BSE as also growth in the long term, so a useful play if Toliara comes good for both growth & income. But mining companies, especially the small ones require both a lot of patience & deep pockets! My brother in law was involved in the Mondex start-up when working for NatWest although my online name relates to something different | mondex
26/2/2024 06:57 | Makes sense. Only to be expected. But want Tollaira past the post. Maybe more of a feel from this mornings webcast. Are you an Income investor mondex? Your handle reminds me of the NatWest cashless experiment in Swindon. | plasybryn
26/2/2024 06:12 | From the half year results: "In light of progress achieved and the Government’s demonstrated level of focus and engagement, as well as the approaching conclusion of mining at Kwale Operations, in applying the Company’s capital management policy the Board has decided not to pay an interim dividend" | mondex

12/2/2024 17:41 | Half year results and update on 26th Feb. I believe. Can't come soon enough. Fingers crossed for positive news from Madagascar. | plasybryn
31/1/2024 12:28 | Could be a very exciting year for Base. Let's hope everyone shares the vision to get this massive project moving at long last. All power to their elbow. | plasybryn
30/1/2024 12:07 | "Engagement with the Government on Toliara Project fiscal terms and lifting of the project’s on-ground suspension has been reinitiated, with the Government indicating that finalising terms and launching the project is a priority." [deleted] Got it now. It's my reading that's clumsy, not the statement. :) | mjneish

17/1/2024 08:34 | Looks that way, they probably won't tell market until all crossed and dotted so share price will lead the way | soleman1
17/1/2024 08:12 | Base up 13.33% on the AX. Is something leaking re Madagascar? Could solid progress on the Fiscal Terms be made so soon after the recent Election. Would be a great way to start 2024. | plasybryn
05/1/2024 17:35 | Has the decline been reversed? Early days and probably all news driven from here. The Co. continue to use "X" (Twitter) well. | plasybryn
03/1/2024 19:19 | Plasbryn: Thanks for the share price Angel report. However, I do not see Base as a significant producer of rare earths. For that, Rainbow is the best bet, IMHO. | meanreverter
