27/5/2023 18:30 | Kevin Balloch is the CFO. James Fuller is the guy who moved on.Good luck with your deliberations. | plasybryn
27/5/2023 18:28 | The Investor Relations guy left recently for a new post at Atlantic Lithium, another share i like by chance. The Finance Director has stepped into his shoes at BSE until a suitable replacement is found, but he replies to emails and is very helpful if you need a specific point clarified. I genuinely feel the Co are confident they will get FID terms although one suspects it could be the election in Nov that is holding things up. Mine approval - jobs - vote gainer. | plasybryn
27/5/2023 18:08 | hmm while i'm sure Madagascar is probably a country where corruption exists I find it hard to believe that the Russians are trying to squeeze Base out - its not really a critical mineral. And why do they need the Toliara Project given that they seem to be extending exploration in Kenya? The Kwale mine operation has worked very well - could mine life be extended beyond end 2024? Kenya issued a moratorium on issuance of new mineral rights since November 2019. Why? | farrugia
27/5/2023 17:50 | Peel Hunt gave Base Resources a buy recommendation with a target price of 22p a few weeks back i believe. | plasybryn
27/5/2023 17:23 | Mining Review Africa August 2022."Discussions with the Government of Madagascar on fiscal terms, and the lifting of the on-ground suspension, have advanced significantly and we are encouraged by government's recent messaging on the need to bring the Toliara Project to development in a timely manner to help stimulate economic growth in the region." | plasybryn
27/5/2023 16:41 | Risks why have we not got the go ahead to start preparing the infrastructure to commence production Why won’t the Madagascar ministry of mines accept that our offer is fair and equal in the benefits for both parties Now this is the question that really needs answers Who’s pulling the strings of the officials running the ministry of mines MADAGASCAR What part of this pantomime have the foreign mercenaries who have occupied the country and taking over the allocation of mineral deposits and who will mine them Ime betting that an Australia company will never get further than this fiscal impasse Why won’t Base tell us why they can’t move this impossible situation forward when the figures demanded will never add up Do your own research on Who is now pulling the strings in Madagascar | janekane
27/5/2023 15:52 | is BASE good value at those levels? why wouldn't you touch it janekane? what are the risks/opportunities here? I believe this is a profitable company but its reaching depletion of its resources? I'm starting to look into this stock. | farrugia

11/4/2023 10:35 | I hope you get what you want base was very good to me with massive divi payments and growth I sold out as my expectations were being eroded I still have one share as this keeps my transaction history on my screen I will be back big time on news of a breakthrough in Madagascar But am getting better vibes from mainland Africa that makes me think this is the next major mine possibility in Tanzania | janekane
11/4/2023 09:25 | It is interesting how every time they update us they manage to use more optimistic words. How long can that go on. Eventually they will either get the Fiscal Terms agreed or have to admit there are problems. I remain optimistic we will get real/tangible progress by the end of April. Just a gut feel. | plasybryn
09/4/2023 18:16 | In the last presentation the Co assumed Fiscal Terms in the Madagascar project would be agreed and in place by the end of April. Anyone got a gut feeling they will pull it off this time. | plasybryn

30/3/2023 06:07 | LG Have to agree with your comments the Madagascar project fiscal terms could and should have been resolved 4 years ago Can you imagine the attitudes of the ministry of mines officials Madagascar and the facts they believe that the original licence to explore and set up the infrastructure to create the biggest world mine for the minerals available was obtained fraudulently I believed Base when they refuted this claim But I also now believe that the fiscal terms set out by the ministry of mines Madagascar are set so high that a contract will never be a viable option for Base to be in a partnership with the Madagascar government Mud sticks and no matter how Base pushes forward the hurdles will keep moving higher Regards Jane | janekane |
