Trades 1 through to 14 on the Australian market today show the sellers offering to sell their shares at above the bid price making it look like the bid offer prices are the wrong way round

I would have thought this is exactly the sort of drop you would expect from a 2p dividend going xd and see no need for speculation about other causes.

Catastrophic drop in share price in Australian market it’s down 17% at the time ime posting this ,could drop the UK. Market by 1.75p My thoughts are for all the long term holders and don’t suffer this drop

Good luck all let’s hope there is not more bad news in the background and this is just the EX DIVI DROP

Morning mjneish the problem with base is not their ability to get the tolaira mine moving it’s the mismanagement of previous government officials
The Russian influence via social media
This problem reared it’s head in 2018
There will be a new government in 2024 who will look at the mismanagement regarding licence approvals
I started selling my shares in February and with my dividends reinvested got an average of 16.5p a share showing e a massive profit
Look at the chart above to see my judgment was correct
Base in Kenya has another year or a little longer before the mine is finished
At this moment in time I still consider Base a strong sell
Good luck to you if you have bought into base I hope you make money but my strategy would be to wait and see what the outcome is at the end of this year
I also believe taking a short position is prudent at this time
