20/6/2019 16:45 | Minerve 2. Not sure that we would get "lead partner" with Lockheed nor that it would get around the Saudi issue. Lockheed are not realy interested in "Partners" only Suppliers/Contractor | ribblewader
20/6/2019 16:36 | Surely BAE could just negotiate lead partner position to Lockheed to get around some of this nonsense. Not sure about on the ground support. | minerve 2
20/6/2019 16:31 | Airbus not doing too badly with Saudi orders Paris Air Show 2019: Saudi Arabia considering A400M as An-132D fades | ribblewader

20/6/2019 15:02 | Ruling on arms sales to Saudi Arabia could affect BAE Systems and Lancashire jobs | ribblewader
20/6/2019 12:05 | Cmackay "Who would have thought that Germany would pose a threat to stability across Europe. Again" Always inevitable Third time lucky they'll be thinking. Well they've overrun Europe economically after all. UK last bastion, again, hence Germany is adamant UK must not get a good deal(along with their lapdog France) Worrying times I have to say. Currency War Trade War War War is next .... | crossing_the_rubicon
20/6/2019 10:59 | Agreed regarding Germany and Pan EU defence projects. Who would have thought that Germany would pose a threat to stability across Europe. Again. | cmackay
20/6/2019 10:57 | I see on the other thread that a court case has gone ahead against the UK government regarding saudi arms sales. That won't help. Hopefully Boris will still be in the running after lunch, he seems to be doing well for us. | cmackay

20/6/2019 10:47 | UK Government challenged in courts over Saudi arms sales: | f15jcm
20/6/2019 10:34 | Nice recovery. F35 unit costs reducing to less than forecast. Possible that Turkey will loose at least part of its F35 manufacturing. All adding up for share price surge. | ribblewader
20/6/2019 10:06 | European side Germany is a major concern restricting weapons sales to Saudi Arabia for example. This is why I am so anti Pan EU defence projects. US / BAE merger of some sort often mooted. Yet to see any evidence of such. BAe seems busy with bolt on mergers with likes of Rheinmetal rather than a meega merger. F35 subject to a multitude of problems - the B and C variant, not the A apparently. Given its cost, worrisome. And as you say Chinese stealth detector - is it fact or bluster! World is very unstable at moment. Currency Wars Trade Wars We ALL know what comes next. | crossing_the_rubicon
