11/6/2021 17:52 | Has to be connected to their offer here. Enough to cover their existing 67.5p or are they raising additional funds to up their offer?Interesting times. | husbod
11/6/2021 16:55 | This should please some: | carcosa
10/6/2021 17:15 | Very quiet here as we await the outcome of the of course it didn't leak from our laboratory CCP. | husbod
07/6/2021 12:42 | Good buy volume at this new levelSteady rise and MM increasing bid slowly but surely as we make a challenge for a new level above 60p soonDespite everyone best intentions with stopping the deal at 67.5p its just NOT going to work - bigger forces at work here beyond us mere mortals All my own musingsGLA LTH | greenvulcan
04/6/2021 16:28 | Strong finish to the week at 58pAll positive here me thinks perhaps the formal offer of 67.5p is being revised upwards after all and we will see it come in sooner rather than the new extension deadline All my own musingsGLA LTH | greenvulcan
04/6/2021 10:04 | Broker comment this amMexico - Consumer confidence 42.7 in May vs 42.4 in AprilGovernment drops plans to nationalise lithium productionThe Mexican government is reported to have changed tack and is said to be encouraging investors into developing new production. The report is good news for Bacanora Lithium which is waiting for Genfeng to confirm its offer to acquire the company. The government is due to introduce a market-friendly lithium bill in September following mid-term elections on 6th JuneThe government had been looking to take 51% stakes in lithium production in public-private partnership with miners | barbello
03/6/2021 20:35 | But it can also be further extended. | husbod
03/6/2021 14:33 | Just a one month extension implies they are almost there imo | return_of_the_apeman
03/6/2021 09:46 | Thanks for that monet.Seems to suggest the CCP, sorry Ganfeng, are uncertain their derisory offer would succeed.Interesting. | husbod
03/6/2021 09:36 | I refer to my post #5358 and #5360 ... | carcosa
03/6/2021 09:30 | I expected a delay tbh. I did hope for a bigger drop in price though so I could top up! | twowheels

This revised deadline may be extended further with the consent of the Takeover Panel and at the request of the Bacanora Independent Directors, in accordance with Rule 2.6(c) of the Code. This Announcement has been made with the approval of Ganfeng and a further announcement will be made in due course. | monet
03/6/2021 09:23 | Oh, a delay... is that a first for BCN?!!!! Always delays with the Chinese. | igbertsponk
03/6/2021 09:20 | So 1st July is the new date of offer intention. | catch007
03/6/2021 08:53 | I think the deadline is 5pm today, so I expect they may do it after the market closes 4:30 onwards maybe, it may suit them better to do it that way. Either way it will be RNS, so either delay, takeover or no takeover, I would imagine. I'm guessing with the we don't want to talk about it AGM RNS it will be takeover, but that is purely my speculation. | stevegrass777
03/6/2021 08:39 | But would they? Are you sure? If that is so then there must be an RNS because it's price sensitive. Assuming either is the case they can't withhold the information to suit themselves . There has been no RNS which suggests they don't know. If they still don't know by 4.30 would they then be obliged to RNS that no offer was formalised and therefore lapsed.? | assagai
03/6/2021 08:36 | They need an RNS saying an offer has been made. If no offer the Board would have to say so too. | igbertsponk
03/6/2021 08:28 | Not sure of the rules concerning the anticipated RNS . Is it that an RNS is required if the firm offer has been made AND/OR if it has NOT been made. i.e. withdrawn? | assagai
03/6/2021 08:09 | Maybe they see something that PIs don't? Easy to scream undervalued when you dont see the detail under the hood, so to speak. | beeks of arabia
03/6/2021 08:04 | I think it's safe to state categorically that they don't.They will be aware of the depth of feeling on the matter amongst many PIs and hopefully as well amongst the institutional holders. However they are going to receive an email from me and very many others I suspect along the lines of why are they minded to recommend an offer that so hugely undervalues the company. | husbod
03/6/2021 07:40 | Indeed, done deal, please don't moan at us | return_of_the_apeman
03/6/2021 07:28 | Strangest AGM RNS I've ever seen, It's almost as if they don't want to answer any difficult questions! | stevegrass777 |
