nice bounce yesterday, just sitting tight, hopefully volumes should return to market once dust settles & holidays over (end of august?)

intersting action taking place.........very very similar to yesterday afternoon where the mms would leave the 5's (715, 725) some trading would happen there for a while then a jump upto the next set of 5's where where the mm's woul d be sat........they would then move up and the process would repeat.............

orderbook is strong with only 2 mms in the 730's.......the rest 740+........could the same repeat today??????????

morning all............thanks for that Sammu............also I think ML holds Axon in another fund...........I think it's .......Merrill Lynch UK Smaller Companies Inc.........run by a Richard Plackett and rated AAA..........



I think I posted something about it further up.......think it was just an rns saying what % of that fund Axon's contribtion was............

Hey Blockbuy

It says RBS on the RNS, but it also says this on behalf of Merrill Lynch UK Special Sits.

This is good news to see this fund adding, as the manager, whoose name escapes me at the mo., is a smart cookie and is considered by some as the guy most likely to take Anthony Bolton's crown.

LONDON, August 13 (newratings.com) - Analyst Mark Davis of Panmure Gordon & Co reiterates his "buy" rating on Axon Group Plc (AXO.ISE). The target price is set to 900p.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that Axon's interim results are likely to show strength in the company's business. Axon has guided to an adjusted PBT of +£15 million for 1H07 and indicated that there is a possibility of further improvement for the full year. Axon's TXU contract has begun well in the US, which might contribute substantially to the company's results over the forthcoming few years, Panmure Gordon & Co adds.

a mixture of bargin hunters throughout the day and short closing there at the end I feel..............

735 auction price...........maybe a markup in the morning on more short closing and momentum traders.............I think all longs will agree a much much better day.............

would be looking that way sm...........expect for those of us that could see this was by far soooooooooooo overdone it was stupid............but hey, that's a pension fund somewhere hopefully benfitting...........

orderbook is really strong at the moment..........

35.9k v 35.1k total buys to sells........which doesn't sound much like strength until you see that includes a 10k sell order at 740..............so without that, as it's no where the touch prices, then it's 35.9k v 25.1k...........

715 about to give way.............

looks like the US want to play ball this afternoon..................could be a good ride what with PMUR reiterating BUY and £9.........and from the 3 holding in company notices there's been a net purchase between the brokers...........

Screamer.............I agree.........I think it was just unfortunate 250 entry timing............but we live and learn and it would seem that most here are still alive from last week...............having a very decent shopping spree at the mo............

well done sm...............hopefully your in profit on those new ones too.............

she-ra..........I see what your saying, but what timeframe?????????? if you wnat the share price to be £11 tomorrow then yes it's urgent, but look to where they've got now from the current acquisitions...........without the 4 (?) purchases they wouldn't be the global compnay they are now and yes a lower share price .........so I'm sure there's a plan for both organic growth and acquisitionial growth.........they win deals, improve their cash, use it (and shares) to purchase............also how much would it cost a company to start from scratch to build up the global practice Axon now currently has............more than £135m for sure imo............

but let's not get ahead of ourselves..................we're still licking our wounds from last week..........
