Strange time to sell after six month breakout and with so much going on within the company right now. As the mad Cramer would say "don't trade it, own it"

Yes I must echo the other posters it would be a great shame if cjac and wba left this board they bring a level of knowledge we can never achieve.

Not usual to have a whole 10p rise here though but hardly in takeover territory maybe the institutional investors have awoken from their slumber and seen we were to be having a special dividend and it will still leave us on a 6% yield.

A shout out to wba1 in regard to Sabre insurance, would probably never have discovered it without his knowledge and expertise.

Other financial barely moving today. Brokers notes don't usually affect prices by as much as this. Usually with AV it has the effect of the price falling !!!

I think news is definitely brewing - something will be out soon. I'm hoping for a full takeover, but happy with anything that takes this back above £4

Momentum trade taking over now on 350 breakout.
Should be quite strong if you look at previous support/resistance (sep 19).

First a message to LINTON5...very pleased on your on going recovery...a dear very fit friend of mine (57 years) went down with Covid-19 after Christmas, and had a week in hospital. He is now OK like you but feeling very weak, now able to take quite long walks with his wife who had a less severe virus. Until recently he would wake hoping to feel better but instead had no energy...so be patient, you will regain your mojo.

Sorry to some for the above who are rightly concerned about AV., my feeling are along with others that the business model will change under our CEO in time, and that the re-rating will start soon. It is very difficult to compare with others in the sector, but with a PE ratio of under 6.00 and with many other truly near term developments )selective asset sales our rating here is WAY below where it should be against it's peers. A strong hold.

Suspect Morgan Stanley have come to the same conclusion we all have a good sustainable yield a special dividend 80p - 100p in say the next twelve months the share should be in the 4.00 - 5.00 range.

For fun....

A few days ago there was a brief off-subject discussion on the merits of 'correlation'

There is one undoubted correlation on this BB; this being:
...the high volume of negative AV comment when the share price is falling and the lack of it when the price is rising !!!!

Perhaps just the human condition
