"I think you need professional help, a psychiatrist maybe.
And by the way, ive got more firepower than you"

SR clearly in need of a padded cell - unless he is out on day care and already has one!

Indeed. However it's very difficult to time a perfect exit point & most interest normally coincides when assets are artificially depressed. spud

From reading a lot on here, the consensus is, more downside. Big investors dont believe the company can grow earnings. The Asian sell-off is a bad strategy.
A dividend cut is likely, and a subsequent share price fall. Great.

This could be another LLOY value trap, where the dividend is cut, and I take a huge capital loss.

If we go down to 340ish, Im not buying anymore.

It's not exactly the optimum time for selling Asia assets.

Think if they do sell the Asian units then they could end up selling the lot.

What's everyone's thoughts on the sale. Will it add value to the share price or drop it?

Got my call in early doors , went up about 5% but the call was IMO well founded as the chart has now proved

buywell3 - 14 Jan 2019 - 07:51:04 - 23518 of 24992 Aviva - AV.

Technically IMO the AV. lift has now stalled

RSI and upper bolly indicates this; macd also

IMO 360p will get tested again soon

Oil could be screwd as you say as in the next few months Iran may be able to start exporting oil again which means putting over 2mln barrels back on to the export market.

Prions lol

Gold still looking solid above 1520. No index rise is believable while gold stays above that price.

Some data on the econ calender this week. Ftse could very easily find itself heading for 6225. In a volatile way of course.

Hence gold markets are a good aid in the indices volatility. A gauge as to when green really means green lol

Oil is screwed. Low 30's wti the target. Economy plus trumps promise to voters of cheap oil. A special tweet a day for oil on run up into election

Fair enough. I don't filter anyone because it's all information. Even buywells ramblings are useful at times. Points of research. Odin relies on Huginn and Muninn but he still calls the shots for himself. One of the other reasons I like this board is because it's one of those companies which is very susceptible to macro-economic factors. So all discussion is valid be it gold, brexit, trump or oil. Maybe not prions!
