Is it possible to start a thread where the system can detect incoming bearish views and ban them all with a firewall at source?

I think it would be great. Threads where even imminent global meltdowns are a buy signal

And 99% share price falls are just a bit of bullish retrace.. ..top up the holdings

And the deeper in the red you go... the greater the value is in the stocks

I love that world.. .

Loganair..a balanced poster. Well done ro you.

Hard to understand some. If your holding, what good are bullish views? You have already made mind up and executed. It's the bearish views you want to see at that stage.

Wise words once spoken.. .when In, always watch for the opposite side of the market...

At least you get it..

There is never a need for a toxic personal attack on another poster. There is no need to pull another poster down and to pull their good name down.

I see you totally disagree with 'sent' and have a strong dislike with what he is saying and you would not invest your hard earned cash in such a manner.

Like most people, they like to think they are doing a good job at the things they do and will therefore defend what they do and their good name.

How many here have a target? A total return target? And know where to assess price on way to target, in case the market is not going to go there? 1 in 100 of you I bet.

How many here for income? But absolutely no control of the capital input levels to assess?

Guys.....only one thing to say..

Dround87 're most short termers making a loss....

Most medium to longtermers are too...and that's after a decade bull.

I don't class myself as any termer. The way i see markets now are thus:

To be a good investor, you need trader timing skills. To be a good trader, you need to be aware of the whole investing environment.

I don't sit watching a tick chart lol. I've probably analysed more than most investors. I do some medium to long term, but only by accident. Still targeted 20% but the market let me continue to hold.

You don't know trade junkie obviously! Like I said throw us a successful tip that gives you 20pc in a week and I'll apologise. I like successful traders. Few and far between. The overwhelming majority of short termers around here are making loss after loss. If I had to put my finger on it I'd say it's because insiders, friends of insiders and those with premium data know what's going to happen (exacerbated by bots watching volumes) well before PIs and therefore the move happens before PIs can respond. Very difficult indeed to make those week by week calls but hey if you can do it you can do it! I'd just like to see some evidence if you're going to talk the big talk.
