21/5/2007 20:22 | Bit of a small dip this afternoon, hopefully not indacitive of the results tomorrow, I hope! | junior21
11/5/2007 17:54 | Aveva heading for the FTSE100....... | junior21
03/5/2007 18:00 | Very nice rise to finish the day. Bodes well for tomorrow. | junior21
17/4/2007 09:25 | Welcome junior21 | johnrxx99
16/4/2007 17:53 | I'm in today via a spreadbet, can't beleive I haven't noticed this company until now. Never too late to join the party, that's what I say. | junior21
13/4/2007 10:58 | The "somewhat" statement could be about right, I have a forecast of between 27.3m - 27.8m, anything less than 27.3m will be disappointing, bridgewell has upgraded it by 8%, from the consensus of 25.5m. | prankster2
13/4/2007 09:18 | WILDCHILD - if you want to draw attention to something it is probably better to provide a link than paste the whole thing, which is what I will now do for today's buy tip from Questor: Tempus also gives a 'buy' rating: | sharw
12/4/2007 17:42 | Tday whats your problem? Why "clutter up" this very quiet board with your moaning? Just maybe there are some people who hadn't seen the RNS today. I thought it might stimulate some discussion. Seeing as though AVV hadn't given a firm date for their trading update not many people would have expected it today. | wildchild
12/4/2007 15:47 | We can all read RNS's elsewhere. Why clutter up the BB with them? | tday
12/4/2007 09:31 | RNS Number:7223U AVEVA Group PLC 12 April 2007 12 April 2007 AVEVA Group plc Trading Update Following the completion of its full year to 31 March 2007, AVEVA Group plc (" AVEVA"; stock code: AVV), one of the world's leading providers of engineering data and design IT systems, announces the following pre-close trading update: In the second half of the year, AVEVA continued to experience strong trading with growth in revenues across all regions. Each of our major markets remained buoyant and we have achieved continued growth in existing products and further market penetration with Vantage Enterprise Net (VNET). As a result of the above, the Company expects its preliminary results to be somewhat ahead of current market expectations. Richard Longdon, Chief Executive of AVEVA commented: "AVEVA has continued to work hard at developing innovative products and ensure customer satisfaction remains at the highest level in all of the markets in which we operate. We are pleased with the progress we have made in the past six months and during the next financial year we will continue to invest in our products and strengthen our international presence to ensure that we continue to capitalise on all of our opportunities. We look forward to the future with confidence." The Company will be announcing its preliminary results on Tuesday 22 May 2007. | wildchild

28/3/2007 05:44 | sharw - agreed. | johnrxx99
21/3/2007 10:14 | Forget about the 18th. May - the next important event is the trading statement - April 11th. last year. The recent price volatility was inevitable given the market crashlet. The rise meant that a lot of people were sitting on a good profit and wanted to lock it in given the uncertainty of the market as a whole. As regards earnings, underlying last year were 16.15, interim were 15.19 (5.75) so running earnings are 24.59. Consensus earnings for this year are 27.52 so H2 earnings have to increase 2.93 or 28.2%. At the current 816 the consensus gives a p/e of 29.65 and PEG 0.42. Given the way things have been going I think there is a high probability that the company will, once again, beat the forecast. | sharw
20/3/2007 22:58 | My earlier posts (71 & 73 in early Feb) on the 'perfect graph' reflecting the steady progress of the SP, now appear to be a little premature! My info shows prelims on 18 May At 810p Sharescope shows: EPS 12.9, EPS growth 13.4%, PER 62, PEG 0.58 (on historic figures) compared with my: EPS 12.1, EPS growth 123%, PER 30, PEG 0.22 (on forcast figures) It is a big jump from 12.95p (EPS to Mar 06) to 27p (EPS to Mar 07) Confirmation of meeting (or beating!) it will hopefully restore us to the graph with the comforting shape - i.e. from bottom left towards top right, in a nice staight line. Please! Roll on May 18 | ajnk
20/3/2007 14:04 | Bought some more at 789.99, in preparation for a bounce back up and ahead of the feds decision about interest rates, can't see him doing anything foolish with the present state of the markets. | prankster2
15/3/2007 16:28 | Agreed. Don't klnow CEB either but will look. Chinese everything has been hyped so, apart from GFM, a bit cautious. | johnrxx99
15/3/2007 13:25 | Don't know about CEB as I have not analysed it but been buying more of these at levels of 808 to 832, IMO they are oversold, it just needs the markets to stabilise and I'm confident that they will climb all the way back to the top. | prankster2
15/3/2007 13:13 | I agree with Shireleyshare, been buying more CEB China Eastsea. H. | hectorp
15/3/2007 09:35 | Good recovery today. AVV has been my best ever holding over last couple of years. O/T but related: Because I've done so well with AVV I took a small punt on a Chinese software co that supplies software to the oil industry there, including big Chinese Gov. bodies. Reminds me of AVV but Chinese, it's risky but could do very well indeed. It's on PLUS markets rather than AIM. Looks like it's just now starting new uptrend both yesterday and today, but a DYOR - CEB, worth a look. | shirelyshare
05/3/2007 11:15 | At this price, I couldn't resist it, bought some more at 803.24. | prankster2
01/3/2007 04:56 | I tend to agree with ajnk and nirvs as falling knives time out there, BUT if not a major correction, will come back so leave another day or 2. There was bound to be profit taking after such a rise, hek, I mentioned this last week so no supprises so far. Watching and waiting. PS Look at yesterdays pull back, not to be ignored. | johnrxx99
27/2/2007 22:13 | I also bought today at £8.975. My trade was maked with an 0 as a sale. So how many others are mismarked? | fatfin
27/2/2007 14:21 | ajnk - my thoughts EXACTLY. Waiting to see how this market recovers | nirvs
27/2/2007 13:50 | I am also tempted to add some more this is one of my best performing investments on an annualised % basis BUT Given the 'double top' in the chart, & the drop below the recent 5 month trend, is this a temporay buying opportunity, or a warning the share price is getting ahead of itself? Reason for reversal of trend not currently clear to me | ajnk
27/2/2007 13:17 | It dropped! I've bought some more. | prankster2 |
