These are the words I like best, from a military point of view(from the RNS)

"SECURE AND FAST". Much needed in the conflicts around the world.


The technology test-bed, which will be based in Stevenage, UK, will comprise of
a dedicated secure laboratory facility which will enable government and military
customers to test and refine future military Ka-band system requirements. The
test bed will utilise proven system and terminal capabilities supplied by
Astrium Secure Satcom Systems and satellite bandwidth on Avanti's HYLAS 1
satellite which will be launched in November 2010.

the ever increasing utilisation of satellite communications by both military and

This is another contract that highlights the potential of our Ka Band to serve a lot more than broadband for the mass populations.

The valuation of this company is growing everyday and therefore the share price is considerably lagging behind (imho).

700p may soon look cheap!!

Actual BB and I WERE communicating regarding AVN and with regard to five quality newspapers, who may be wishing to do articles on AVN(they are interested at present) and one newspaper who owes me a big favour in particular.

yorgi. i appreciate your views entirely but BB and I do work, a great deal behind the scenes for every company we invest in. We do that only with the great help of folks on the bb's,who contribute everything that we, as new investors might be unaware of.

So bare with us,wont you because BB has done an IMMENSE amount of research on AVN and many of the new investors are here because of that,as I am.

We never short a company either and are loyal until we sell or return as investors again.

BB I am very disappointed by your response to Yorgi. We would like to keep this thread devoted to AVN and maintain a high standard of posting so that potential purchasers can quickly evaluate the potential of AVN and not be put off or distracted by drivel.

It would be appreciated if everyone would post with this in mind.

Well the market has had a good few days and I guess Connaught would have some effect on the market also. We are still looking ok and we have had a brilliant run in the last few days.

Also as you pointed out maybe a contract anouncement now launch date anounced it must help any salesman who need that something extra to encourage a potential client to sign on the dotted line

Yes Good Morning Yorgi - good volume on aim and some on plus market. I'm surprised the market has generally opened down today but perhaps it will improve later especially if the Dow can open up.

Just got to my desk. Wow £6 + now were moving - on St Leger's day as well that should be worth another £1 per share!!!!

We might even get a new contract announcement soon now that the launch date is known.
