Got carried away in the night watching WCC in HK and then searched for Avanti on google and my eyes almost popped out when i was taken to a site in Dubai and a $1billion contract(2008). It was then I thought I need a cup of coffee.

Ended up still holding my WCC though!.

( Avanti -Dubai is a real estate company -;-) ).LOL.

Hi guys this is the end of my first year at this and I have been reading your posts - what a nice bunch. - my plan was simply to beat the banks at 3.5%. To date I was struggling along at just about break even and bought some sold some etc Sold ARM too early bought POG too late among others. Then along comes AVN - I have topped up 5 times and finally feel on top of it. My story is ... keep at it and don't get down

Have done so BB and you are correct............................................... but like you I have taken SCSW since the year dot and could have sworn I had seen it recommended there.

Never mind our man in Havana is very interested in the story..........lets hope it works and the contracts arrive too.

Im not so sure !

Check out "Avanti Communications" in the search box of the SCSW and you get a negative response.

That said Id be surprised if SCSW overlooked this story and Ive been as subscriber continously since 1994. That must make me a veteran ;-).

SCSW were the first to recommend these a couple of years ago I think , that's when I first got in.

Think it goes to press on a Tuesday evening (spoke to the editor once) so I'm sure it'll get a mention but they have no reason to ramp it as they have had it as a buy for a long time.

Chart suggests this breakout is heading to £10.50 but dyor , etc , etc.

Quite possible I would say Dolores......and yes we have cracked 600p mid price. I think all that has been holding it back was waiting for that confirmation of launch date it has woken up the share price for sure.

Fair observation D123.

After such a spectacular performance Id expect consolidation around current levels before the impetus improves prior to launch.

Of course if the shares remain tightly held and it gets a recommendation in this weekends Small Company Sharewatch newsletter then anything could happen.

Id almost say the skys the limit.

Unbelievable ! Bought in last Friday at £5.45 to 'tuck way'.

Naeclue : My view is that those 'shrewdies' who supported the recent placement at £4.30 are looking for far greater returns. I do not foresee a great deal of selling at the current level. Maybe ..when we reach £10...but go there it will!

Offer price closed at 604p but the bid fell back to 595.50. Roll on tomorrow! I hope!

£7 per share possible before launch?

I wonder about the guys who took part in the placing, they are showing a healthy profit over the 430p they paid just over a month ago.

Perhaps some profit taking there will impact on things?

Satelite launch and successful deployment will add to things, fingers crossed for that.
