If only you listened to BBmouth last week at 1.0p.

Mugs were buying in chunks of 500K 0.9-1.1p.

Come back at 0.1p and throw only £500 for a punt, 1 day before delisting.

Ahh, bless them, they've tried to amend their boiler plate words, I wonder if they read this thread... This still can't possible be true though:"The network provides ubiquitous internet service to a quarter of the world's population"Given that they contradict this statement in the same boiler plate words?

AVN

Another Very Nasty

Example of how rampy posters over egg the investment pudding and luring the unwary and newbes into losing lots of their lolly.

Debt will most probably bring this down to earth if the space junk doesn't

Dead cat bounce can happen 0.1p, where millions of shares can be bought for few K.

Mcap has to be 1.5m-2.0 for the game to start.

IIs have to liquidate their big chunks at 0.1p

everyone lost their money here.

I supposed senior bond gets the assets.

what's the point of recapitalization? These need large amount of money.

Unless recapilisation then mugs to buy IPO 10bn, rinse and repeat then it will end like Aston Martin, 80% depreciation in 12 months.

Could be a very good short again if this scam goes on the market again.

Some proper idiots who bought this dog today in the hope a dead cat bounce.

Not on this share.

You need massive volume to do that, 500m-1000m shares.

Maybe have a dead cat bounce on resolution day, but then suspension and delisting.

One thing they are right about is that AIM in particular doesn't value Companies correctly, FTSE100 index yes, FTSE250 index yes, in fact most with a Main Listing but AIM? Nope.

This company still needs buckets of cash to stay afloat. Realistically it isn't going to get this from the equity holders, most of which are also the debt holders, so what value is the listing for AVN - not much, and hence the RNS. Shareholders who stay in will get a largely illiquid holding with less information from the Company. I'm guessing most shareholders have little invested here due to price movements, but for newer, larger investors, probably best to get (something) out now.

There's a very arguable case for it being better for AVN if Hylas 3 had blown up on the launchpad (presuming AVN could afford the insurance premiums).

Two reasons. First typically because the final hefty payment against a satellite isn't usually paid until it's occupied its final geostationary position for 30 days. Second because the much delayed Hylas 3 is already seriously outdated technology.

I doubt AVN's looking forward to supporting the running costs of a fourth satellite when it can't even get anywhere near selling out half the capacity available on the fleet of 3 it already had.

That's about the only way to spin that bit of news, "were going to stop spaffing your money on satellites that nobody wants, except for the steerable beams that some dubious government wants, who we then have to sue, when they refuse to pay us"...
