23/4/2018 20:45 | Regarding Hylas 3 the following statement doesn't actually fill you with confidence "Harper, Avanti’s CEO at the time of the financial report, said the company was “considering all options,” of recourse for the still-grounded payload. Bestwick declined to explain what those options are, but said they stem from “contractual remedies” linked to anticipated revenue that Avanti hasn’t been able to produce." Sounds as though Avanti hadn't paid up | estienne
23/4/2018 20:11 | Excellent article with David Bestwick on spacenews.com - if I wasn't such a technophobe I would put up the link. There is still a faint glimmer of hope for a recovery for the optimists among us..... | briangal99
20/4/2018 14:42 | It would be nice if they'd paid for the satellite... They still owe orbital $40m according to this:https://advance | zcaprd7
17/4/2018 18:38 | Deja Vu - haven't we already had one debt for equity swap, or is this it? After the swap I estimate the company will have a market cap of £100 m. They could raise £50m on the basis of 1 for 2. But still some substantial outstanding debt will remain. They have a brand new satellite in orbit that cost, what £400m? which might reflect some value left for a punt? But it depends upon future revenue and cash flow to pay costs and debt. I sold months ago as the bond holders will walk off with most of what is left. | weatherman
17/4/2018 17:26 | It's certainly worth a punt - I bought in last week at 4.9p, but only for a few hundred quid. If all the immediate funding is completed, then the stock should bounce back to 9p-10p, and then I'm out. I certainly have no interest in being a long term holder in this one! | ilovefrogs
17/4/2018 17:01 | Looks like they are still selling the rest of their holding- may drift back up once they are done | briangal99
13/4/2018 19:36 | They used to own 15%... | zcaprd7
13/4/2018 16:46 | So Caledonia was the big seller in the background, sold at leat 0.82% but potentially their entire 3.8% holding which would be about 6m shares | briangal99
13/4/2018 00:32 | What's happened to Terry, I enjoyed his musings? How do you make a small fortune with satellite investments? Start with a big one... | zcaprd7
12/4/2018 15:49 | panic does that | buywell3
11/4/2018 20:00 | It would instill some confidence if they could fill out an RNS release properly the first time around, without having to release a second clarification, twice... | zcaprd7
11/4/2018 16:29 | Ok it's back... | 999rp
11/4/2018 15:37 | Is something happening with trades all showing blank no buts or sales on advfm | 999rp
11/4/2018 15:28 | As I said anyone looking at AVN should look at how similar more established companies have done in the USA This type business gobbles up cash Hence debt is the end result | buywell3
11/4/2018 13:46 | You might have to if you were the CTO or CFO? Or then again... The new CEO doesn't seem to be bothered - he's still in South Africa according to linkedin! | zcaprd7
11/4/2018 08:25 | why would I subscribe at 11p when I can buy the shares at 5.5p | martin3042
10/4/2018 03:52 | Recent events leading up to now, satellite launch, d/e swap, open offer of shares ("please buy our new shares at 11.22p....by the way the company is soon going into liquidation!"??)Afri I own shares at an average price of 8.5pish. IMO it's worth a punt...... | badger60
09/4/2018 17:48 | Apology accepted... Where from here though? Worth a punt at these levels? | zcaprd7
09/4/2018 17:42 | Fair comment. Apologies for that.... | badger60
09/4/2018 17:36 | Yeah, spin the wheel, but be civil about out...be careful who you call a cretin! | zcaprd7
09/4/2018 16:01 | This is what makes it interesting Zap........the share price at these levels is option money. A chance to X3, x4....or lose the lot........spin the wheel........ | badger60
09/4/2018 15:50 | The CTO and CFO have refused to subscribe in full, expect resignations shortly, lol... I'm sure they will be thanked for their years of service, just like the old CEO was! | zcaprd7
09/4/2018 15:32 | badger602 Apr '18 - 06:29 - 1051 of 1092 So you think that hedge funds announce their intention to throw money at "lost causes" in order to save face!?!?......."yes, we know that it's a loser but we don't want you to think that we're stupid, so we're going to throw some more money at it"....... Zap.......You are indeed...... a cretin!! No, probably just restructure the debt and leave equity holders with nothing...good call here mate, you must be an investment genius. | zcaprd7
09/4/2018 15:19 | #1090 You're quite right.....but a fat lot of good that's done for PRM shareholders, as you full well know.....ask any of them and just look at the share price ... | badger60 |
