Nobody notice that Hylas3 has now been launched and in position. Capital spending now completed.

Indeed. If they weren't, the sh*t really would have hit the fan by now!

As we know, when auditors qualify the accounts in this way, they shift the buck from themselves back to the Directors, on whose say-so they accept that the company has enough resources to stagger (sorry, 'trade') through another year. Well, they would, wouldn't they?!

Yes, quite. All good in the sense that auditors signed off on going concern, which must have been in doubt. Whether we will see some recovery or a slow death remains to be seen......

Sorry been away on holiday- the RNS said all resolutions were passed and only agenda item was related to the accounts so all good.

AGM has been and gone, this general meeting in July is specifically to approve the accounts

As announced on 28 May 2019, the Company will not be in a position to publish its audited financial results for the 18 month period to 31 December 2018 until on or around 7 June 2019 and as a result, it will not be possible for the accounts to be laid at the AGM.

No such thing as satellites space equals radiation and what interferes with communications you guessed it radiation. I suppose you all believe Tesla car is on it's way to Mars playing a David Bowie track on loop the thing is no one in space can hear you scream remember that.

"Avanti connects people wherever they are." Not true, one requires a dish, and to be in an area covered by one of their satellites. "Through the HYLAS satellite fleet and partners in 118 countries, our network provides ubiquitous internet service to an end market of over 1.7bn people." I would like to see the list of the countries, as I'm not convinced the satellite spot beams cover that many countries, likewise it would be interesting to understanding the formula behind the population coverage estimate. Given that they don't offer services in China, India, or the Americas, it seems unlikely. "Avanti works together with like-minded people and organisations to go the extra mile, developing new, innovative and pioneering satellite solutions that help to liberate the potential of people, businesses and government departments across EMEA."That's doesn't really mean anything does it? By like minded, do they mean with no regard for basic business sense? "We have invested $1.2bn in the latest Ka-band satellite technology and shaped it to meet our customers' aspirations." This might be true, but 'wasted other people's money' is probably closer to the truth. How many dishes are actually sending and receiving data over an Avanti satellite?

Any of you folks use X-O(by jarvis) or iweb-sharedealing(by halifax) to trade?

interactive investor have decided to up there fees again, from June it will be £9.99 per month, ive decided its time I finally left them.

I find it unacceptable that if i dont trade for 5 months, ii think its ok to charge me £50... Yes they give it £40 of it back in trading credits, but they expire unused after 90 days.

x-o and iweb advertise a simple flat trade-only fee of £5.95 per trade and have NO inactivity or monthly/yearly admin charges like ii do.

Surely the equity is worthless? Even if you take the assets at purchase value (highly doubtful as a} they don't seem to generate much revenue and b} they only had approx 15 years of life at launch) the debt is higher, no?
