Trit,usually a poster has edited a post/deleted it.The ADVFN system won't lt you fully remove a post but if you just leave a full stop you can delete everything else

Tritan, press F5 to update graph, or double click on graph and it'll open up a seperate window that will automatically update.

Hi tritan,

I have never noticed the problem. Surely the page is up to date when you open it or refresh it. In any case the graph on the previous page will also be up to date when you open it.

You could cross check with ADVFN.

Hey Dolores123, spell what out? In work at the moment wanting to see how the AVN share price is doing this morning so put a . in place to get an updated graph at the top of the BB. Been reading up on these boards for the last couple of months and kept seeing these dots appearing every so often but never knew what they meant until recently when I realised the graph doesn't update until someone posts (or have a got that completely wrong and it means something completely different!!!!).

The results on friday will be very positive IMO, the market is no where near rating this stock. i think the figures will be way ahead of expectations and if they announce a firm date for launch then full steam ahead! Friday could be an extremely good day for investors.

D123,
first satallite 2010,second 2012,upto 12 more over 20 years.
broadband speeds of 2mb to 50 mb at same rates as existing providers.

I can't find the Times piece online ...their search engine seems to be having a bad day.
It was a prominent article and very positive

Must not be phased by this weeks profit taking. I am holding for long term. The broker Cenkos currently values AVN at £13+ per share and RHPS said if all goes to plan this company will be making profits of £250 million pa after second satelite gets underway.

Compare £250m per year to current market cap of just £315m approx and imho we could be looking at £50 per share!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not £5 per share.

The AVN management team have performed brilliantly and met all targets and gained many pre launch contracts. Just read the previously announced results.

Sliced some profits today at 486p. Still a core holding though. Just reducing exposure somewhat in this market - and also storing some cash to add back again when I can stocks at a lower price..

May be a problem with my online broker then (SimplyStockbroking.com), because I was under the impression I did. I'll give them a call today. Only been using them a few months and their limit order functionality only went live in December. This won't have been the first bug I've encountered with their site, although they do tend to fix them quickly once people start kicking off.

This might explain why a 1.55p limit order I had on Red Rock Resources didn't get triggered yesterday afternoon. I was a little hacked off about that last night.

Edit at 13:29: The Limit Order is stored on online broker's internal system, and won't appear on the order book until the buy is triggered by their price monitoring system, by the necessary share price fall.

Got a 465p limit order in for a few more. Reckon I might be being a tad over-optimistic for another small fall to say 460p, but will see what happens over the next week.

My limit orders have a habbit of not coming off, but I'll see what happens. Either way, anybody buying now is getting in below the recent placing price, so I think it's a good time to buy for the impatient on the sidelines who want in. I've been in since mid-2008, so think I can afford the luxury of a little patience now. ;)

I reckon a few of Robbie Burns followers got shaken out after his recent well publicised buy at around 485p.

I added more yesterday , unless the whole market goes pear shaped then these will be a lot higher come June.

profit taking on the instituional list, happens all the time. Some of these gus have made 250% since the June placing and probably want a bonus !
