The wider market has been marked down significantly so i am not surprised this has come of a little.

If you consider the share price back in March 09 and compare that to a lot of other companies that have moved up in price to the same extent or more without too much justification and yet Avanti has released so much good news in that time period then the only conclusion is that Avanti is considerably undervalued and a curent price of say £8 per share is not unreasonable given the fantastic potential of profit growth and EPS over the next two or 3 years.

However some profit taking is normal and we just have to wait and see what is released in the results next week - hopefully a new contract or two and confirmation that this company's excellent management team consider everything to be going to plan.

Has the satellite blown up on launch......looking at todays fall you might think so.

I've already got more of these than I should have otherwise I might have bought more.

Holy Moses! Never thought this would drop to £4.80 today..... What kind of lemming would sell out of a company like this with the satellite launch being so imminent.............?

will push the price further

My Yorkshireman instincts are telling me to wait till Friday philanderer. Looks like the most obvious rising trendline goes through £4.80. I'm not a chartist, but many set great store by the drawing of diagonal lines across share price charts, so anticipating I won't be the only one watching for this. If I can buy more at £4.80ish, I'll be a happy tight-fisted Yorkshire Bloke! ;)

A good buying opportunity in front of next week's results has appeared following a slight softening of the share price

Also more contract news will hopefully take us over £6 ps.

Lets hope so. Also new contracts should no doubt be obtained between now and the Launch date - June 2010 I think has been mentioned, so plenty of time for new contract news!!

To see Plus market trades just add .GB to the epic code in the ADD box.

Don't forget that the company's own broker - Cenkos - valued AVN at £13 per share and other brokers/tipsters have published price targets of £8 to £11!!!

results in 10 days, on balance i would think they are unlikely to disappoint. Will also get an update on HYLAS 2 which will spark some renewed interest.

The four trades at 12:14 look interesting, could be buys or sells. The trades appearing so co-ordinated, at first made me think it might be Director purchases, but with results out soon there would surely be a closed period. Trading seems to have significantly increased in last two weeks. Also, I topped up yesterday and my purchase didn't appear, so trade numbers are understated.
