From the FSA tables it looks like Ennismore have finally closed all their shorts on AVN over the last few days. It may have been their buying back that has held the share price recently.

If you look at the old thread and posts during April 2012 that may give you a clue to 1976yol.

He was totally contradicting himself then and when I asked if he could explain he just ignored my questions as he knew he had been exposed.

Registered 31/1/12 and all posts on AVN, I don't think there have been any on any other company and all knocking either David Williams or AVN.

I'm guessing, I don't know but he probably lost money on screen media as has not been able to get over it.

You do realise probably (most likely) has nothing to do with where cash goes? Do you think all the ship owners using convenience flags such as Panama get their fees paid into Panamanian banks?

It is possible that Avanti could lose cash in Cyprus if we have it in an unprotected deposit. It is possible any company you or I are invested in could lose or have lost cash in Cyprus just like some companies did in Iceland.

I imagine we chose Cyprus over Luxembourg or Ireland because it has some useful tax treaties with North African countries. Malta would have been another possibility as that has similar arrangements, but its corp tax is 35%. So using a Cypriot subsidiary will not only reduce corporation tax but also reduce or eliminate withholding tax for some jurisdictions.

Have a look at posts during April 2012 and when I responded to his posts then pointing out total contradictions which he was either unable or unwilling to answer.

I would ignore.
