Yes it all amused me John with all the posters coming out with the "correct" version of the saying and of course "the lesson" we were given :-)

We will soon be like a shooting star :-)

"Availability of the Spaceport's separate Launcher Integration Building and Final Assembly Building facilities at French Guiana provides flexibility in Arianespace's mission processing flow, and enables two Ariane 5s to be prepared in parallel."

I understood an absolute minimum of 20 days between Ariane 5 launches, possibly my understanding was wrong. An RNS cannot be too far away either way? With indications of progress on Hylas 3 around, could it be a double?

Admire your optimism wilksey but I don't think AVN will double with the launch of Hylas 2. You can virtually take it as read that all will go well; Ariane is a proven vehicle and unlikely to fail (though possible) and hopefully the satellite deploys OK, but it's sales and resulting revenue that will drive the price forward.

Cast no clout 'til May is out

Literally:

Cast no clothes until May, (mayblossom, otherwise known as the Hawthorn tree),blooms. {nothing to do with the month of May, bloomed in April this year}

Here endeth the lesson !

Agree R I have been watching these closely for the past 6 weeks or so & suddenly today something is happening. Not huge trade visible on L2 and if anything it still seems to be more selling than buying, however the price definately seems as though it is poised for a big move up.
Yes it might be mms playing silly bs to get some trade going, but when they have done that in the past, they have marked it back down again after 30 mins at the most. Today however, they are being marked up and are staying up even on small sell orders.
If we can break through 320p before the end of the day, then we are set to move back up to £4+
Happy days ahead!

Thanks John for posting your reply from Avanti. Interesting response considering what we know about VA207 being rescheduled.

It would seem Ariane is still aiming to launch both VA207 & 208 before August, however its definately worth keeping an eye on the news, especially when SES-5 gets launched. I tend agree with colva, late July launch will be a good result.

Zak over on the t1ps site does a daily write up of the state of play with the FTSE100 , he draws a few lines on a chart and uses some jargon but what he actually says is - if it rises it will go up , unless it falls , in which case it will go down .He's been doing it for years and he gets paid for it :-)

Still in a sideways channel. We need some movement into the 320 to 325 area . . .

. . . and then some consolidation (i.e. some volume) whether it's an hour, a day or two or three days

I'm sure that is the case whatever a golden cross is Colva :-)

More to do with the launch date getting closer in my view but we all know the chartist will find a chart, name for every movement :-)

A nice move up but on very little volume, perhaps the MM are moving the price up in anticipation of the Golden Cross , what do you think Yorgi? - and try not to use any expletives. LOL
