23/5/2012 11:05 | N3 Yes , fully insured to cover the cost of building ,insuring and launching a new Hylas2 ,or more likely a Hylas2-A , or maybe a Hylas4 , no probably not Hylas4 as it would more than likely be launched befor Hylas3, and that would be a bit silly. | colva
23/5/2012 10:35 | In just over a month we will know Nugacity :-) | yorgi
23/5/2012 10:28 | is it insured? ... for accidents? | n3tleylucas
23/5/2012 10:03 | Will this baby reach school age before it is out of nappies? If the directors are waiting for a chance to take out more living expenses, it might. One day I'll find a share whose price reflects the obvious but our baby will be paying off uni fees by then perhaps. Are they going to televise the take-off this time? Hylas 1 piccies were beautiful. | nugacity
23/5/2012 08:19 | johnsimpson, Quite right. What I should have said is "Compared with some stock I've been in in the past!". We should be prepared for any Black Swan event that might mess things up, but that said, I'm comfortable to have my cash in this baby... Cheers! | thescoop
23/5/2012 08:11 | thescoop 23 May'12 - 01:07 - 8908 of 8908 . . . . I see this as a safe-house for my cash right now, with negligible risk of slipping under 300p and every-chance of a climb to 430p+ pre-launch, with 500p+ immediately post-launch. No such thing as a safe-house with shares, other than that, I think we're all with you. | johncsimpson
23/5/2012 01:07 | Agreed Rogk, And to add my view, I see this as a safe-house for my cash right now, with negligible risk of slipping under 300p and every-chance of a climb to 430p+ pre-launch, with 500p+ immediately post-launch. | thescoop
22/5/2012 16:26 | I agree Yorgi - I'm very bullish on the company. Just wanted to temper any thoughts of massive peaks and dips. I'll be looking at the trading activity in the two months post-launch. If it doesn't fall back that'll mean there' institutional interest in my book - and that'll mean a different pattern to H1 launch and post-launch period. And that can only be a good thing. | 1356
22/5/2012 16:23 | Certainly was a big move after - frankly it raced up too fast and became a traders plaything. You'll be back in profit in time I've no doubt. I'm no trader, but fair play to those that rode the down swings as well as the up. I'm simply a multi-holding, long-term investor. And there's two things I worry about: - Conviction in my investment - Patience Get those two right and over time it'll show. | 1356
22/5/2012 16:19 | We will see 1356......Hylas 2 a much bigger satellite covering a wider area and after it means we have two satellites in service, I think there is every reason for interest to build here over the next few weeks and then beyond. | yorgi
22/5/2012 16:12 | There was a BIG move after Hylas 1 too ...... £7 down to £2.26 i.e. £4.74 I'd settle for Hylas 2 showing a small rise of £3 - a £7.74 swing would do nicely. Lost track of my average here but it won't be less than £5 I fear. I was one of the mugs who was convinced £7 would rise if the launch went well - and it was better than that. Good job I do not have a spread betting account or it would have been a hard loss rather than a paper loss. Still bewildered tbh! | nugacity
22/5/2012 15:47 | This will not rise in the same was as Hylas 1. There's not the same level of frenzied hype. At best 400p by launch. Due mainly to the "risk off" attitude in markets at the moment. That said, trading activity could push it higher. Hylas 2 is an altogether more serious proposition and the big move will come AFTER launch... since the business model will be significantly de-risked if the launch is a success. Talk will turn to revenues, profits and a Full Listing. There's no doubting the market opportunity in ME&A regions... top up time methinks. DYOR, etc... | 1356
22/5/2012 15:40 | I'll say nothing this time then Martin.....but just :-) | yorgi
22/5/2012 15:38 | Yorgi its almost as if the MM's are reading your comments. everytime you say they're going up they mark them down. | martin3042
22/5/2012 15:18 | Well we are moving at last......maybe !!!!! | yorgi
22/5/2012 15:14 | They go up diddley up-up, they go down diddley down-down! My shares or flying machines? Would be nice if it was shares and they all went up. Getting bored with one going up and the rest going down. | nugacity
22/5/2012 13:01 | Thanks Nugacity, I'll have to try and change that, when I get a mo. All the best, Yep, you guessed it . . . yet another John | 2350220
22/5/2012 12:50 | Are we going to go this time !!! | yorgi
22/5/2012 12:45 | Hi John, Put simply, a SB of £2 per point is the equivalent of buying 200shares, so gives you a market exposure of around £600 at the moment (ie what you would lose if it all went t1ts up. Cheers S | salamanda74
22/5/2012 11:51 | More Johns on here than there is in Hyde Park - sorry, he is also called John but unlike most irrational people he is happy to be a number. 2350220 even! He has taken his email address down now so the matter is closed. | nugacity
22/5/2012 11:37 | Thank you everybody - think I've now got the general gist. Nugacity 22 May'12 - 11:10 - 8890 of 8890 John - took a look at your website which was interesting. I noticed a typo in your recent Project page - check the typing of 'privileged'. Ermmm which website would that be? | johncsimpson
22/5/2012 11:10 | John - took a look at your website which was interesting. I noticed a typo in your recent Project page - check the typing of 'privileged'. Never done a spread bet - is there a fixed interim settlement period e.g. if you do one over 9 months and it goes up and down during that time - does either side have fixed dates on which they pay the difference before the 9 months is up? And if you are in profit - can you call it a day and take that profit without charges? Being lazy - should DMOR I know, sorry. | nugacity |
