10/5/2011 19:19 | Hang on,this was supposed to go DOWN to 350 not UP to 450 according to the patronising "poster" who periodically pops in to tell us why he would never invest in this share and has never owned any shares in avn but would like us to have the benefit of his wisdom. | blue forever
10/5/2011 16:45 | Yes it is rather, my attention has been elsewhere today but I have had eye on it and good to see it has ended quite nicely as well John :-) Good luck on VGM as well. | ![]() yorgi
10/5/2011 16:41 | What a lovely day for a change, after a lousy few weeks. Let's hope that there is more to come. Been very quiet here today. Nice with one of my other biggest holdings, Vatakoula having a bit of a flurry too today, as well as Avanti. John | ![]() 2350220

09/5/2011 21:45 | Can anyone please refer me to any AVN RNS or other official source stating the operational lifetime of Hylas 1? Is it 10 years? I'm aware of the recently announced extension of some 6 months or so but not the original operational lifetime. | garymott
09/5/2011 19:33 | superg1 - 9 May'11 - 09:35 - 5494 of 5504 Seems like some fair comment superg, I cant see any "tosh" in that. jameswilkie - 5 May'11 - 17:21 - 5473 of 5504 just in reply to your post and further to the link I posted friday, "Coface is the official ECA of France, though its national presence is to a degree disguised by a commercial veneer. Coface is actually a commercial insurance company owned by a single shareholder, but crucially it has an outsourced contract from the French Treasury to run the French ECA schemes. The insurance and on occasion direct debt financing arranged by Coface is underwritten by the French Treasury. Coface has offices around the world and is pro-active on a significant scale in the Space Sector, i.e. wherever there is a sustained sales interest for French exporters. Like ExIm, Coface will cooperate with other ESAs to secure major export sales for French firms, ensuring sufficient local content to satisfy market rules in key export markets. Coface's involvement and associated success for Thales with Iridium Inc is particularly notable when observing that the major competitor was a US company, Lockheed Martin" | gorvachof
09/5/2011 14:52 | Yes,. i'm sitting on a loss at the moment which nobody likes to do although I was not intending to sell for some time yet anyway for anyone who was or has now a need to they have been harmed by the greed of shorters who care nothing for the truth and continue to ignore the facts and spread what is misleading information to say the least. | ![]() yorgi
09/5/2011 14:48 | Precisely the point Blackberry and in time the share price will reflect this fact I'm quite sure but in the meantime we have to await facts to be accepted by more people and realise that the shorters have run scurrilous yet successful campaign. | ![]() yorgi
09/5/2011 14:41 | Avanti's share price has fallen following (and only becauee of) a pretty scurrilous bear raid, yet no-one has identified a single definitive weakness in its investment case, and the company continues to post detailed and positive newsflow. | ![]() blackberrydrop
09/5/2011 12:09 | Superg1, And now to lower your credability further, you are offering price targets, something which you accuse the rampers of relentlessly doing. Shame on you. gg | ![]() greengiant
09/5/2011 11:52 | superg1, from your post 5494, "AVN have been 'economical with the truth before' (launch delay Hyals 1)." You first made this accusation in December on the ii site and when challenged to provide evidence you were forced to back down and said that it was " just a hunch". - ii later deleted a couple of your posts - no doubt to cover their backside. You are on very dodgy ground when you make statements like that. | colva
09/5/2011 11:12 | How wrong I've been advisng people when the hype crew posted £10+ to sell and get out. I predicted it would fall and just keep going in the short term. I was spot on. My intuition was spot on the majority on here have been wrong. It is the hypoe crew that dominate the Boards and hence people who bought in on the back of the nonsense have lost money. So when you post your tosh, think of them follwoing your wonderful advise last November. Well done all between you you have lost PI's a small fortune. Pats on the back all round. thise are the facts. Goodbye and goodnight. 'You can lead a horse to water' .................... Well done SC for the beiong the only one that seems to have any logic. No wonder he has dome rather well for himself. £3.50 here we come. | ![]() superg1
09/5/2011 10:55 | For any new investor....Superg1 has been posting the same rubbish for months now and doesnt own any shares.......Superg do what you have stated in your last sentence and go invest in something you feel is less risky instead of spouting rubbish on here. Whenever anyone has been posting negative comments/questions on here they have been met with curteous responses from well researched/respected posters and been proved wrong. Like i said stop deramping this share and do as you stated and move on...... | ![]() jonnib
09/5/2011 10:07 | Superg1, what a load of nonesense. AVN might not answer anonymous posters on ADVFN but it does what every other company does and makes RNS announcements and posts presentation slides on its website. It also gives detailed interviews to press (such as last weeks in Shares Magazine). Most significantly, the last RNS it made pointed out that AVN had beaten its launch pre-sales target of 25% with a peak fill rate of 35% already achieved. So as I say, your posting is total tripe. | ![]() blackberrydrop

06/5/2011 15:17 | The value of sites such as T1ps is to draw attention to companies that may well be worth researching. I regards it as being worth the subscription. I also find SC worth watching. AVN has been a salutory lesson that there is more to making money in the markets than being right ... TW's gold fund has done pretty well ... | meljohn
06/5/2011 13:14 | Yorgi, There,s a link to TW,s tips performance table on the website - scroll down the page and its there on the left hand side . | colva
06/5/2011 11:18 | Thanks for your reply Sg31, I just wondered what you were basing it on. I recognise some of those companies as being bad buys but I can't say I have checked out all of his tips overall to say how he does but he does also call some winners. But yes as usual DYOR. | ![]() yorgi |
