The rise seems to be common to all Cu stocks - I hold this and I also hold CAML which is also unexpectedly up a similar amount today.

Last year the Annual results were published on 22nd March. Maybe the market is anticipating some favourable figures.

Also, according to a previous RNS, the move to the main market should be completed by then. The market cap of £470 million would comfortably place them in the FT250 index.
Several tracker funds, trusts etc would be obliged to invest. Perhaps investors are beginning to anticipate this move.

It wasn't that bad it reviews the 5 projects underway. Here are some snippets to dwell on:

Proyecto Riotinto

The Company is continuing with permitting activities associated with the San Dionisio final pit... Initial stripping is underway in order to prepare the area for future mining phases.

Riotinto District - Proyecto Masa Valverde ("PMV")

In March 2023, the Company announced that PMV was granted an AAU by the Junta de Andalucía... In November 2023, the exploitation permit for the Masa Valverde and Majadales deposits was officially granted.

Two core rigs are active and focused on step-out drilling at the Mojarra Trend and completing metallurgical and infill drilling at the Masa Valverde deposit.

Proyecto Touro

The field-work carried out by Atalaya has resulted in an immediate and visible improvement of the water systems surrounding the project, with the progress being recognised by local stakeholders and the media.

Proyecto Ossa Morena

Drilling continued to progress with one rig at the Guijarro-Chaparral gold-copper project and the La Hinchona copper-gold project, both in the central part of the district. One drill hole was completed at the flagship Alconchel-Pallares copper-gold project.

Proyecto Riotinto East

Drill testing of selected coincident FLEM and AGG anomalies is in progress with one rig.

I'm a long term holder here and convinced ATYM has a bright future but would love to see some new narrative on Touro or wind turbine assessment. The narrative is so repetitive and progress is really slow. I know it's Spain and all but just think if there's nothing to say, don't say anything. Again I am positive on ATYM but this update was just a trifle bland - sorry.

nothing exciting, but business as usual (and progressing forward with everything). Not sure why stock lack luster. Starting to think UK market out of favour with investors ... generally underperforms. Copper price level Ok and holding. China under pressure to grow the economy and that means building. Stock probably drops to 300p, but I will support it there.
