Nice Q2 Ops update. Production up, energy costs down, soft copper price transitory, projects progressing. Would just love to see permitting progress at Touro and Elix up and running.

Yes that is the price. However it's an average price, and prices change daily.
Also their are set prices for each hour in the day.
So given normal users are using more on peak hours they probably end up paying more than that.Cheers
Atym will be using 24/7 so price is a good guide.
Also was 250 this time last year so indicates level of savings.

With power prices easing ahead of summer, but winter and 2024 contracts
appearing to trade closer to ~€100/MWh, we ask whether it makes sense to lockin an increasing share of the company's power supply on a long-term contract.

While there may be further downside to power prices from the €50-55/MWh agreed for the current PPA, decreases of €10-20/MWh from this level are likely
to translate into ~US$0.03-0.06/lb on a unit cost basis (and this dilutes further
with rising production).

On this basis, we think hedging represents relatively cheap
insurance against exogenous shocks to
the power market

If the BRICS+ nations are going to fully start pricing commodities backed with physical gold, rather than the slumping $, then what price will we be looking at for other commodities & will European jurisdiction copper mining be seen as a safer haven
