Masa valverde gets official approval to start exploitation. Interestingly mining must start within 12 months of the concession starting so that means 2024...Surely an RNS this time around? Last year's dividends were in August and September. Have they said they plan to pay earlier next year?

FTSE250: 7 companies sub 400m
Current list sub 400m market cap: CABP, DGI9, CWR, LIO, 888, PRTC .... plenty of targets for us to hunt down
Obviously anything can change.
Constituents are reviewed March, June, Sept. December.

you are right : FTSE 350 = FTSE 100 + FTSE 250 = biggest companies on the LSE, numbers 1 to 350. So we could take the last two positions of 250 ?

2024 FTSE350 membership, but target FTSE250 likely end 2024, but achievable 2025.

When all the administration is done FTSE350 membership is a given.

We will also be listed in the sub category FTSE350 Mining.

However, the prize is the FTSE250 .

We need to grow, and that is why I believe we will make a transformational acquisition.

Prices in the mining sector are currently suppressed so its a good time to buy.

Our share price has held up relatively well compared to the competition, so our shares would be good currency.

There is the additional motivation to get bigger: we stay too small, with no debt we will become an easy takeover target. Right now we can't defend ourselves against a hostile move (especially if involves Trafigura who already have 20% control).

So more than one reason to grow fast! The upside, timing could be great (as copper prices will have to go higher) and we are likely to achieve FTSE250 membership before 2024 year end.

GMA and nice to see ATYM begin to motor....if a takeover happens, then hopefully at least other shareholders will demand a decent price, but until then copper price heading back over $4 IMO/DYOR.....should bode well for underlying EBITDA / Cash & therefore yield especially as costs should also be heading the other way!

Need to correct what I said above : under the new takeover rules that govern us, I believe any possible bidder who builds a stake in our company, so for instance if Trafigura were to buy more shares above their current stake, would they need to probably make clear what their intentions are by market authority or possibly be subject to PUSU , put up or shut up. However, a mandatory bid not triggered until over 1/3 capital. IMHO.

We will now be domiciled in Spain

- for a Spanish company not such a bad thing




Easy win for management with 98% vote for Spain.

For Taxation purposes we still have an entity in Cyprus , so we will not pay the higher Spanish taxes

We will move forward to main market listing

Once Spanish domiciled we will meet a major criteria for going into indices

- we are still some way off getting into the FTSE 250 ... but add a couple hundred million euros to our market cap and we will achieve goal.

Our dividends will be subject to Spanish witholding tax ... hoping there is a way to claim this back

We do lose out anti-takeover defence: under our Cyprus set up and articles of association a hostile company no longer will need to seek management approval to go over 20% of the capital. Straight to 30% and will then be able to launch a hostile takeover. This is unfortunate and means the likes of Trafigura may well be able to engineer a takeover and sell us for a profit to Sandfire: IMHO.

Like a lot of us, he’s watched EMED jump about for nearly a decade it seems.

I rang II corporate actions team today, and discussed why I had not received a voting option in my account.
It appears for a reason I didn't fully understand that they are unable to process this in the normal way.
However they are able to vote on your behalf if you ring this team.
So I have managed to record my vote.
If with II just ring them soon if you want to vote.
