13/9/2022 22:04 | Copper now dropped from 168 to 151. Rise didn't last long, Dollar rising strongly again. | brockwl2
13/9/2022 13:17 | Copper broken out...on a tear... Gold also rising steadily... Silver up 12% in less than a week...and we have plenty of that... ReplyRecommendReport Post | rougepierre
13/9/2022 09:12 | 175 + 111 = 286 Monday. Another increase, but still below previous highs. However very volatile. Increased nearly 20% in 4 days. | brockwl2
09/9/2022 09:20 | 156 + 86 = 242 today. Slight increase. I wondered what happened 're the potential strike. Thanks for that info. | brockwl2
08/9/2022 19:25 | ATYM just settled a new 5 year labour deal with their workforce. 6.5% this year and looks like at least 3% for each of the next 4 years. Good to have that out of the way. | robmcelf2

06/9/2022 08:00 | It took them 27 days after declaring the dividend to announce the payment date. I wonder if that's a record. | zangdook
06/9/2022 07:15 | On 19 July 2022, the Company obtained a letter from the Tax Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Cyprus, where Atalaya was informed that it is not required to withhold any special defense contributions or general healthcare system contributions upon the distribution of dividends to its shareholders, and that any of Atalaya's shareholders that are Cyprus tax residents and domiciled individuals have the sole responsibility and obligation to pay the relevant special defense contribution and the general healthcare system contributions via a self-assessment. Consequently, shareholders that are not Cyprus tax residents or Cyprus domiciled are not required to submit any tax form. Great but...is this retroactive? | zangdook
04/9/2022 08:56 | hxxps://euroweeklyne Now 110 + 120 = 230 Big drop from last week of 160 + 225 = 385. Also worth noting that the first element (electricity charge) varies on an hourly basis quite significantly. Cheap hour was 25 against 205 for most expensive. Clearly avoiding the expensive hours would make a significant difference. No idea whether they the scope to do that. I wrote to the IR address of the company for clarification 're the gas compensation element but have had no response. Whilst things have improved this week, the whole electricity costs seem so volatile, I'm staying on the side lines for now. I'm also surprised the share price has held up so well. Copper down to 338, and another big covid lockdown in China. Also reading articles about housing crash possibility in China, almost certainly needing government support. Built too much too quickly, which no one wants. Will almost certainly have some effect on copper demand at some point. Gla | brockwl2
28/8/2022 17:15 | Brockwl2, thanks for your continued work on Spanish energy costs, it is very significant at the current AISC.., last reported Q1-3.59, Q2-3.33 H1-3.45/lb We know our UK domestic tariffs are going up 80% in October, driven by the gas consuming energy companies in their gas fuelled power plants.. We are all paying the price for the rush to green cleaner energy now after so many dirty coal fired power stations have been closed/decommissione Some insulation from these costs with our solar plant will be much needed, but it is summer 2023 before it will be contributing, we are reliant on the Copper price to do the heavy lifting for at least a year until our solar plant helps cut costs, so the sooner we see USD4+/lb the better Elix commissioning NY2023 Our electricity prices in Spain remain well above historical levels €500/MWh in March 2022 €190/MWh in April and May 2022. €230/MWh in Q1 2022 €180/MWh in Q2 2022 [edit] A further acceleration in electricity prices over the last week meant the fresh record from July was beaten in Italy, France, Germany and the UK, with Italy being the first market ever to record a monthly average spot price above €500 per MWh | laurence llewelyn binliner
25/8/2022 16:45 | It still seems to be in a downtrend........loo | plentymorefish
25/8/2022 14:42 | Time to start stake building again around now, in advance of ELIX/Solar/Touro, energy costs reducing and followed by dividends increasing, our electricity bills are 1 of the key drivers but diesel/reagents/labo | laurence llewelyn binliner
23/8/2022 12:22 | I stepped out last week for technical reasons. Sure I will be back in but likely when a bit more positive momentum in the price. | rabiddog
23/8/2022 12:02 | Allianz increased its holding from 4% to 5%? | sithuk
22/8/2022 22:06 | Latest electricity prices 176 + 95 = 271. So on the rise again. On the other hand copper holding up well against a 4% rise in dollar fx rate. Hard to call things currently. Costs still high and rising, but copper could bounce quite strongly if dollar weakens.H Happy to wait until after q3 results. Before investing heavily again. | brockwl2

16/8/2022 15:38 | First time I've seen a company declare a dividend and announce the ex- date but not mention the payment date. Are they just not used to doing this? I've seen them forget the ex-date and the amount before, this is a new one. | zangdook
16/8/2022 10:29 | #Brockwl2, thanks for trying to make sense of the energy prices, I too am struggling to see how we will get much above break even for a while with our USD3.45/lb H1 AISC and energy prices/margins as they are currently, the FCF ratio and 3p dividend neutralised for a while until costs come down, but a good period to start accumulating on the share price weakness ahead of the solar project, ELIX plant, and ahead of Touro/Massa Valverde progress all adding value.. Interesting to note that some EU countries are demanding compensation from users to suppliers to prevent their bankruptcy as they have got their hedging wrong and not bought forward enough at the prices to cover what they have promised to sell it at.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
16/8/2022 09:29 | Thanks useful. Still unsure how ATYM management forecast 150-175, with current price 243 as you say above? | qs99 |
