Well it wasn't me selling Bracke, not that I think I qualify as a 'moneybags'. However, had yesterdays low been a little lower I would probably have bought back the quarter share I sold end of November.

Likewise Ashtead Group slipped 1.6 percent after UBS downgraded the equipment rental firm to a "sell".

UBS analysts said that pricing pressure was increasing for Ashtead, and that they saw a limited benefit from any increase in U.S. infrastructure spending.

A cool refreshing spritz this morning. Hoping for a cooler December and once they let a trump go in the White House I may flip long.
I am hoping the trump puns last the full term or at least Germany appoint someone called Guff or Fartz as Chancellor in the New Year.

I suspect US post election euphoria surrounding infra structure spending has probably run its course until Donald gets his feet under the desk.

I suspect AHT would benefit at all stages of these new constructions when they begin to happen. My understanding is that quite a lot of these are 'shovel ready' so little delay in hiring those Sunbelt products.

Needless to say they then would be required throughout the lives of the projects.

The share price didn't mess about with 1600 to-day did it. Straight through and no messing. 1550 next support....maybe.

The first of the longer time frame SMAs' is the SMA50 which is currently just above 1400. I am not saying it is going there just yet but don't discount it.

There is no smoke and mirrors about this company just look at the results. I do accept that it maybe running ahead of itself on the prospect of Mr Trump's promise of infrastructure spending.

Yes there is the probability of a retrace/pullback to one of the SMAs' (eg 50, 100, 200) but the probability of something more is unlikely.

If you are short your best chance would appear to be after 20 January 2017.

Avoided the full heat treatment.......wimp.



Now that the FED have finally increased the interest rate and the DOW is just short of 20,000 perhaps we are in for a short period of calm. The market usually drops following Inauguration Day which is 20 January 2017.

The share price is resisted at 1660 and supported at 1600. If 1600 fails next support is 1550.

Short Tracker is showing that declared AHT shorts have reduced further to 1.54%

Eminence Capital reported reduced positions on 8th and 9th Dec, dropping to 0.52% and subsequently 0.45% respectively.

Tomorrow is FED interest rate decision.

The way the market has been reacting I don't think it will make any difference as long as any increase is 0.25% or lower.
