Be good if they did come to the table. These could be seen as slovenia's IGAS then,

"In Petišovci, Ascent is already extracting small amounts of natural gas, and they planned to significantly expand extraction using the hydraulic fracturing method, which would extract gas at a depth of approximately 3,000 meters below the surface. According to estimates, there are 12 billion cubic meters of gas under Petišovci, which would satisfy all of Slovenia’s gas needs for twelve years. The British Ascent has already invested about 50 million euros in the project, but the procedures have been dragging on for more than a decade."

Agreed, some of the newsflow is becoming more AST friendly too.
Seems to be a fairer view on how AST have been treated..

That's probably why we are getting a great price for our gas from them !

Not price sensitive news but shows how daft the slovenians have been and how they've let the NGO's cut the peoples throat energy wise.
They need to come to the table so as to get more gas out the ground imo.

Speculators have moved into the natural gas market pushing the price up 40% in a week !

Day Ahead Price has reached 285 euros per MWh (i.e. 95 cubic metres).
i.e 2.95 euros per cubic metre !
i.e. 2.80 pounds per cubic metre !
We extract 100,000 cubic metres every month so.....

....revenue £3.4 million annually !

Think totally opposite will happen to what your saying. With decent monthly revenue & high gas prices we could easily fly past 10p. The icing on the cake will be court case where we can expect at least 50 million plus.

Day Ahead Price has reached 250 euros per MWh (i.e. 95 cubic metres).
i.e 2.65 euros per cubic metre !
i.e. 2.40 pounds per cubic metre !
We extract 100,000 cubic metres every month so.....

BTW it'll also mean nobody will be able to afford to pay their energy bills this winter !

We could also build a £1 million processing plant to clean up the gas and then we could then direct our gas to the Slovenian grid !

I'd be quite happy with £20 million plus something for our no-win no-fee solicitors from the Slovenian Government.

With that money we could bring alive our dozen wells that could produce 500,000 cubic metres of natural gas a month without STIMULATION.
That's revenue of £12 million net annually !

Our admin costs are £1.5 million !

Share price would be around 35p !

Is it feasible for us to extract natural gas from our ten plus wells and export it to INA (Croatia) ?

With the price at a sky high level it probably is !

Well, that was a bit of excitement from the receipt of a single payment.

When is the next payment due? (I see shortly, but?) And the one after that? And...

£250,000 has to be paid back on December 2022 but it will probably be delayed with a share/warrant sweetener to Riverfort.

Net Annual Revenue is just north of £3 million from PG-10 and PG-11A.
Annual Admin Expenses is £1.6 million (Final Results ending December 2021).

Cash is around £2 million (could be increased depending on September talks).

ARSO apparently stated that AST weren't actually fracking back in 2019 according to AST RNS's.

"Furthermore, the re-stimulation of gas wells is an activity which has been performed in the Dolina-Petišovci area for over half a century, most recently in 2011, and this is standard procedure adopted in similar fields all around the world. We note that the detailed analysis undertaken by the Slovenian Geological Institute after the Pg-10 and Pg-11A wells were subject to initial stimulation in 2011 found no impact or damage to the environment therefrom.

We welcome ARSO acknowledging in its Decision that the proposed project cannot be regarded as "fracking" as defined by the European Commission in its recommendation in 2014.

The Company continues to work with legal experts in Slovenia and London to prepare claims for damages as a result of the numerous and continued failures and delays by ARSO and the Ministry to comply with Slovenian and EU law. This Decision is in direct contradiction of expert opinions procured by ARSO and provides further evidence in support of any potential claim for damages."

Basically the Slovenian judges ignored advice from the experts - that's why we are going to win !

And also with natural gas prices so high we can make a profit without any need to STIMULATE !

Slovenia take on the court case. They're upset obviously and playing the "climate crisis" card but they don't seem able to change anything today. The zombie clause has them stuffed too it appears.
Not convinced ast will get €500m but they seem in a strong position for a settlement.

As for ICSID, the Slovenian Government need to put their defence pack together and send it to the court.
I'm hoping Ascent will put us shareholders in the picture when key milestones have been reached or else we could all be waiting here for several years in the dark !

Align paints a pretty picture and I agree with them !

My investigation continues :-

I'm taking another look at the Final Results (to December 2021).

There are current liabilities of £450,000 and £770,000.

The first part is to do with Cuba and the setting up of Ascent Hispanic Limited.
I don't begin to understand it but Cuba isn't looking good so some money has been lost I expect.

The second part is mainly "Trade Payables".
Can anyone throw any light on this please ?
