02/2/2023 21:14 | And another one. Look genuine. Especially compared to the fake 5 start reviews.ProsYou can work remote when you wishConsUK pensions have not been paid for 6 months. Arria are still taking employee contributions from wages. We have no idea where this money is going as we are not being told anything about this. We found out this was happening when the pension provider wrote to inform us. There is no HR at Arria meaning staff have no voice and nowhere to go to raise concerns. Arria have a "Company First" Moto/Culture which means they expect a lot from staff but give very little in return. There is a "People Operations" department which we are informed is like HR - it is based in the USA with incompetent staff who appear to know very little about UK HR. They recently asked staff to sign an "advance in wages" document (which turned out to be illegal) for wages we had been due 2 and a half weeks prior. As they are in the USA the UK staff are not their priority. Since July, staff salaries have been 2/3 weeks late each month due to funding issues. This does not appear to be being resolved anytime soon.Advice to ManagementMajor restructure of board and c-team | windhill
02/2/2023 21:01 | Kid - why would they lie? What would motivate anyone to write up reports with such clear specifics if not true? This is not a public company one can short. These comments shed light on the reason behind divesting the sports commentary business just announced. A company with fast growing revenues and cash in the bank from a $50M bond issue doesn't divest a prospective revenue stream and cool brand story just months out from a listing to save a few hundred K of burn. There is a lot rotten in the state of Arria and these honest cries from employees give insight. Sad. | windhill
02/2/2023 20:22 | Kid - you are a delusional idiot. Take a look at the Glassdoor reviews yourself. These are plainly from genuine employees. | dingowatty
02/2/2023 17:05 | Wonderful reviews on Glassdoor. Everything is going swimmingly /s Current Employee No Trust, No Pay, No Way Jan 6, 2023 - Prefer To Remain Anonymous The past five to six months working for this company has been fraught with mismanagement, uncertainty, and broken promises. Starting in August only one out of ten paychecks have arrived on time. Some arriving as late as 19 days past due. We've been consistently two paychecks behind, throwing employee finances into turmoil. Not only has the C-Suite continuously lied and set false expectations about both when pay would resume as well as when new investment capital would be coming in, they have also cut most communications with employees on the ground level. We don't know what's going on, and they don't want us to talk about it. Current Employee, more than 1 year Stay Away! Company can't pay their staff and don't seem to care. Jan 3, 2023 - Anonymous Employee Company has routinely run out of cash due to reckless spending and poor decision making. Members of company founding group and related parties have been convicted for fraud in the past. Senior leadership disregard the value and well-being of their staff. Myself and approximately 200 other staff have not been paid wages or entitlements in over 2 months at the time of writing. CEO has repeatedly lied to staff about when we will be paid. Senior leadership have failed to communicate their strategic direction with the company. Decisions are often made by leadership without adequate strategic planning and without consulting relevant experienced people within the company. As a result, many projects that were started had failed or been deprioritised. Staff are often left feeling in the dark. No clear management structure within the company. As a result, people within the company are not empowered to lead projects and teams. Instead, many staff members are just given fancy titles that do not actually correspond to their role. This typically led to there being too many cooks in the kitchen and unnecessary double handling of work. No accountability - CEO is the chairman of the board, reporting to herself, which has allowed the senior leadership team to continually disregard feedback from staff, along with disregarding their legal obligation to pay staff wages and entitlements. Current Employee Place is a mess Sep 7, 2022 Staff have not been paid for 2 months CEO not sure if will pay this month Pensions not paid for 4 months now but taking contributions from staff - so stealing from them. CTO who is in charge of office knows nothing about business, never makes time for staff and never even comes into the office to spend time with staff. | dingowatty

01/2/2023 20:29 | Chilly February morning - anyone know if Arria closed their November bond offering? Listing still planned for this quarter? | windhill
24/1/2023 10:14 | Kid -- could not be more delighted that Arria is getting funded. Wonderful to see all the hard work paying off. Generative AI so hot right now. Bit weird that the 'listing pending" hustle is being used yet again to excuse the lack of genuine financial reporting from Arria, but I take comfort in your assurance that all is well. Pls do keep the insider insights flowing. | windhill

24/1/2023 08:24 | It read ok to me. Slight delay in getting the 55m over the line but still happening. Record sales and divestment of an underperforming division are fine. | kidknocked
24/1/2023 07:10 | I guess rising interest rates made the bond issue look less attractive. Was the sports writing part adding significant revenue? There's a glimmer of positivity with the markets at the moment, so still hoping they can sort this listing. | willowgrouse
24/1/2023 06:05 | Basket case this | drew lonmenob
24/1/2023 03:57 | The bond issue didn't close then, and the sports writing acquisition is being unwound. Brilliant. | windhill
