30/3/2022 13:21 | Reference the Investor Meet Co event on 6th I've put forward a question asking if given the weakness of the Board (basically only one full time person) if it wouldn't be a good idea to bring Mentor and Peter onto the Board. Mentor describes himself as a Geologist and miner and strategist and advisor. All good rounded skills. These two appointments wouldn't of course address the Corporate Business Development/Investor Relations gap, but at least a start and recognises their contribution. | plasybryn
30/3/2022 13:11 | Totally agree but it was Harry that got me invested... I think the price was 9p (before consolidation) and he got a placing away at like 12p!After that it went down to 3p :-D | shortarm
30/3/2022 12:48 | It wasn't Harry that delivered that. It was the great CEO who took over from Harry - Alberto Lavandeira. I agree with you about holding on though. | plasybryn
30/3/2022 12:40 | I actually made a chunk of money out of EMED/Atalaya....They | shortarm
30/3/2022 12:20 | Oh no! Bad experience with him at EMED | plasybryn
30/3/2022 12:03 | Yeah, that's the link but it's not a similarity :-)Kefi is a binary bet..... | shortarm
30/3/2022 12:01 | Barclays? what can I say, I have past experience in helping family members unfortunate enough to have held their investments with Barclays. Sufficient to say all the funds were quickly moved to other management companies where funds were invested for the benefit of the customer, I found Barclays extremely unhelpful in facilitating the movement of the funds to new providers. The practices now on view at the investment management arm of Barclays seem to have started around the start of Bob Diamond's rein. | thanksamillion
30/3/2022 11:57 | More of a connection between KEFI and AAU than you think, as Harry is Director of Venus too, small world! ;) | renniks2016
30/3/2022 11:44 | Happened just like that last time. | dixi
30/3/2022 11:40 | Let's look on the bright side, there may be some more sellers and we will get extra shares cheaper lol. | shortarm
30/3/2022 11:36 | Shortarm - just spoken to Barclays, yet again they are saying they haven't paid the dividend because they have not yet received the 'cash' themselves. Again they are blaming Computershare for this delay. | dixi
30/3/2022 08:35 | Shortarm, same. It's a terrible service. | dixi
30/3/2022 08:26 | Reminds you of Kefi? That's actually funny!I have a small truck full of Kefi shares and they're nothing like AAU! Excellent assets in Saudi though. | shortarm
30/3/2022 08:09 | This one reminds me of KEFI, pumped and pumped and pumped on ShareProphets while the share price drifts down. | arlington chetwynd talbott
30/3/2022 07:50 | Still no dividend from good old Barclays.... | shortarm
29/3/2022 18:36 | * thank you BB - that is what I was after. would be nice to get some details. one can learn .... * got the divi here in Slovenia today | kaos3
29/3/2022 16:42 | I've asked many times about minority protections and they've assured me they are in place and robust. Certainly a question for the presentation for reassurance | bigglesbingham
29/3/2022 14:43 | when gold headed from mid/high 1700's toward 2000 there was no response in aau share price in fact i think it weakened. now gold is around 1900 and may head lower will we see aau share price weaken? rhetorial, cos i guess everyones's crystal ball is as broken as mine. | konil
29/3/2022 13:33 | I think the strategy is great, as someone who still likes to top up as funds become available today's low price is a gift. I do have sympathy for the over 80's among us who would prefer to see value today tho. Its just the way it is and good luck to all on here. | thanksamillion
29/3/2022 13:19 | BUT bigglesbingham many of the things that p*ss us off, including you, can be attributed to this. The lack of PR and communication, the happiness to keep PG even though they do not promote the company, the lack of charts and plans to ensure things are done in a timely manner. If this is the plan I will have to rethink my interest here. | soulsauce
29/3/2022 12:52 | I know you say that with a little jibe but I fully believe that's their strategy and the only real way you could run this strategy. Top quality partners , many who fund the projects, we take a nice cut. Its exactly what I've been saying : a royalties model on steroids. Negative with this is it takes a lot longer which maybe why the Asgard model came to fruition ie reduce participation in companies for a share, still higher than NSR but that cos they get access to our exploration expertise. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't float asguard at some point similar to other companies ie starvest. I reiterate I like this strategy and it's as clear as a bell to me what they are trying to achieve. Hopefully become clearer to everyone after presentation. | bigglesbingham
29/3/2022 11:45 | Looking forward to the presentation. Will dial in from the beach beer in hand | d1g3y
29/3/2022 11:22 | Charles was saying that the complex set up of AAU was to possibly prevent a t/o. I have had another thought about this and I think it is so it can be 'run' with minimal personnel. Think about it, everything we have, apart from exploration, is run by someone else and Zak probably oversees that. So one can be anonymous and the other can continue to reside in Oz because there is very little to oversee on a daily basis. This scenario explains a lot when you think about it. | soulsauce |
