28/5/2021 11:20 | jaf, agreed. all the backed up news is for jam tomorrow and that does not seem to do much for share price of producers, so divi announcement and hopefully continuing pm bull will provide some upward momentum short term. | ![]() konil
28/5/2021 11:12 | I don't blame the company for the dividend delay, frustrating though it is, as there were too many factors outside their control. I do blame them for the poor communications throughout this time though hopefully that is now on the mend. There is, however, no denying that the company's share price performance in 2021 has been disappointing to say the least. The company has lost all the momentum that the JV and dividend should have brought and currently there is nothing to entice new shareholders. As I say, very disappointing. | ![]() jaf1948
28/5/2021 10:20 | Just bought 575K shares today; first free cash for a while...I'm happy. | ![]() parvo
28/5/2021 10:09 | Sorry,I've had a bit of a moan on here recently after spending some of the divi in advance. I had expected to have received a nice payout on my 16 million shares by now. A large proportion of my other investment are in dividend paying shares but those dried up last year so had to sell some of those to keep my wife happy. I don't want to sell any AAU shares at this knock down price but I'm getting frustated at the delays in divi payment and need some cash soon. I know that if I have to sell some AAU shares the following day they will go through the roof. | ![]() paul280i
28/5/2021 09:38 | Very disappointing to see the negative comments on twitter regarding the Proactive tweet on court dates, talk about airing your dirty washing! Shareholders being disappointed and disillusioned is a great way to boost confidence in the company and the SP, I for one will be glad to see the back of the whingers moaners, who can only see the negative in everything the company does at the moment, WTF. Role on the dividend, so those who can't seem to wait to get it and do one, actually do do one and we can move on in a positive vein. I'm glad they are not wasting money on hype, and I'm also going to look back in five years and laugh out loud at where we are now. | ![]() renniks2016
27/5/2021 17:54 | I ain't a clue what they sold . I would suspect a large chunk if they were given heads up their ex chairman's estate was to dump millions on market. As I say this is conjecture in my part but it fits. | ![]() bigglesbingham
27/5/2021 17:46 | That will teach me to skim read results statements bb. I'll amend my spreadsheet back to the 13.5m I believe they had before the RNS saying they had 17.5m. Hopefully they bought the 4m shares between 2 and 3p and then sold between 4 and 6p (probably wishful thinking!). | ![]() zedder

27/5/2021 16:45 | Zedder this is from starvest rns 10th feb 2021: The Company disposed of its full holdings in Marechale Capital and Salt Lake Potash during the year, along with a portion of its positions in Oracle Power and Ariana Resources. So starburst no longer own 17.5m shares. If you remember my suspicions regarding the large seller early in year being Bruce Rowans estate then this may explain why Starvest decided to sell AAU at a price we consider to be undervalued. Let me explain. Starvest ex chairman was Bruce Rowan!! so it's not such a leap that starvest knew a whole lot of AAU shares were going to be dumped by estate therefore privy to this, it's logical they would know it would have detrimental effect on aau price so they get out first. Only conjecture on my part but you see the logic. !!! | ![]() bigglesbingham

27/5/2021 15:55 | Been here a long long time too, if Kerim keeps his stated intention of increasing the MC to 500 million and the price is 50p I'll be happy. But no doubt we'll still be undervalued lol | ![]() shortarm
27/5/2021 15:50 | It's a good question paul280i. Just had a look and I have been in AAU for over 4 years now. I don't have a big list of other shares that I keep an eye on but as long as it looks better to keep my money in AAU vs those other options I will hold on. Additionally the metals market seems to be a good sector to be in at the moment. With copper holding above $10k a ton and demand for electrification likely to push that up further I'm really keen to learn more about the partnership with Venus. | ![]() d1g3y
27/5/2021 14:46 | Having been in this share for over 10 years and been promised a divi 18 months ago I get a bit fed up with the jam tomorrow promises. It's ok for you younger investers but if you are still waiting in 10 years for this to reach anything like it's true value will you be happy still holding? | ![]() paul280i
27/5/2021 12:01 | Can't remember the exact term they used but it was something like they aim to be one of the biggest gold producer(s)in Turkey. I'm happy to wait quite a few years to own a part of that. Salinbas is the game changer but with all the other projects going on there is enough to keep us entertained on the journey | ![]() d1g3y
27/5/2021 11:14 | Why bother being alive if such amazing grades compared to the current mine don't give you something to smile about??Bah humbug lol | ![]() shortarm

27/5/2021 10:58 | They are some very encouraging results. Fingers crossed for more of the same. This satellite deposit could help extend life of mine even more. Hopefully we will get an end of drill update with a consolidated plan for the project | ![]() d1g3y
27/5/2021 10:00 | Good, news on Kepez-thanks carcosa, the previous rns (partial below) gave some great results. 2 April 2020 AIM: AAU KEPEZ RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT UPDATE Ariana Resources plc ("Ariana" or "the Company"), the AIM-listed exploration and development company operating in Europe, is pleased to announce the completion of rock-saw channel sampling at Kepez North ("Kepez"). 27/5/2021 09:55 | A Starvest RNS of 24th February 2020 confirmed the 17.5m holding of AAU shares. I'd previously been working on 13.5m. The RNS also stated the following: Ariana's published production rates for the 50% owned Kiziltepe mine in Turkey show a total of 27,985oz gold was produced in 2019, which exceeded the production guidance of 25,000oz. Annual silver production was 363,649oz with peak production of 101,074oz in the last quarter of 2019. Estimated operating costs for Q4 2019 were US$500/oz compared to US$540/oz in Q3 2019 and, as at the end of the last quarter of 2019, 87% of the JV construction capital loan of US$33m had been repaid. The company believe the remaining balance will be paid in April 2020, which will entitle Ariana to 51% of the profits generated by the mine. | ![]() zedder

26/5/2021 16:53 | from rns "The Company continues to work with its legal advisors and is advancing court proceedings as planned. The Company has been notified that court dates have now been fixed for early and late June and will provide an update to the market, including detail of the Company's future dividend policy, in early July." i hope they are also lining up the ducks now to actually pay the one-off dividend hot on the heels of completion of court matters so no further delays, not just further yada yada yada about it! | ![]() konil |
