I felt the same when the shareprice dropped back from 1.7 p to 1.3p three years ago I added £25000 or couple million shares in the share issue . But if you look under the hood take away the temporary factors affecting the price then you see the value. It's a philosophy that stands you well. But if it was easy everyone would be a millionaire Rodney.

The share price will start to rise again if the POG continues to rise.

As I understand it AAU has moved now to 6 monthly production reporting, rather than 3 monthly, since the new JV. AAU will no doubt inform investors of other developments as they happen, but this is a different company in many respects compared to pre-JV.

The share price will start to rise again when the BoD demonstrates that it cares as much about its shareholders as it does about itself.

I haven't sold but then I have added as the fall back worried me slightly. Yeah fundamentals are great but a pull back with the news flow we just dropped on the market made me question any further top ups.

Let's see on that it may drop but it will bounce quickly imho as it's such a large divi it will be substantial enough for people to reinvest. We will see

Looking at the significant amount of activity on this thread, but mostly ignoring the
continuing drop in the share price, why am I reminded of an old cartoon picture showing a royal procession holding their noses as they walk through ordure.

To build onto inflation figures, Biden has passed the $1.9 trillion relief bull. Should underpin the gold price. Will be back to $2k in no time which will in turn bode well for AAU and other goodies. Particularly AAU given their already impressive margin.

Maybe a mere 23.5% share of a company valued at £43m just isn't enough to rock investors boats.

The problem with the special divvy is that say it's 0.7p, the share price will naturally drop by 0.7p when it goes XD - currently that would put the share price under 3.5p. Unless people reinvest all or most of the divvy then it may not recover quickly...

You are right pranchalee it's never shot the lights out has it. Probably because they are so damn conservative all the time.

But for each percentage this goes down the larger the divvy.
