Does this explain todays share price action?

ANKARA: Fears of a new conflict between Turkey and Greece have soared after Ankara sent a new scientific research vessel into the Aegean Sea.

Hopefully a special dividend will turn out to be a boost to the share price, as some that receive it will immediately reinvest.

General Meeting is on Friday to approve Capital re-organisation etc. a necessary step towards paying a dividend. If you are asking about this I assume you haven't yet voted. Please contact your Nominee Co. to vote on your behalf, if as most, you don't hold the shares in your own name.

What is the big deal about a special divi???

I’d rather they used it to invest in further expansion.

You're welcome millwall.

No the JV is done and dusted and money in the bank but there are just a few minor regulatory issues to get the go ahead to pay the divvy.
Don't leave it too long just in case they do have an inclusion date.

No and no millwall.

Many suspect around 0.8-0.9p but still a few hurdles to jump before definite date.

Many thanks for your thoughts. I'll sit on my hands for now I think. I've ended up with a couple of shares in my wife and my ISAs which are very overweight. 1.2m AAU (32% of our Stocks & Shares investments) and 475k SVE (50% - SVE is pretty much a straight play on GGP though as they have 82m shares). I'm thinking I need to spread the risk more pretty soon!

Chf have stated the diamond drill rig is in their compound and the percussion drill team already on Cyprus.
As Chf don't intend to diamond drill until May after they have done all their pre test work.
I am wondering if we can start our next diamond drill campaign as soon as the weather improves?

I just reduced holding on CHF and moved more into AAU. I'm not saying CHF is overvalued but AAU is a safer bet in my eyes. I think the assets Venus have with confirmed resource is better than CHF and it will take some time for CHF to confirm a resource. I believe the strategy for AAU moving forward is to develop JVs to find resource then sell on to producers while keeping the cash cows and their jewel salinbas. They have plenty to go at with Venus . Why pay £11m for CHF when they have 50% of Venus which is currently valued at zero on AAUs books.?? The market would just not value the purchase inmho . The strategy is simple concentrate on what your good at or stick to knitting (Sir Christopher Hogg Cautaulds) kerim is an excellent explorer he has a company which is self funding what they are best at and returning cash to shareholders. Simples.

Spot on Shortarm.

It is a pointer to where to where the rich VMS deposits are which will now be drilled with the new campaign.
If they are on the fringes of VMS deposits then the next results could be very good but a while off now.

Personally being a holder of both I am happy for them to keep separate and doing their own thing.

Not brilliant width and the next news is a long time away I guess. Fine to hold on if you bought a while ago but everyone thinks they know the 'next ten bagger' at the moment.
