I really can't see crystallisation of shares optionsgate when he increases holding and does so after the deal was announced. My issue last time was initially he didn't increase holding and timing before a soft deadline was poor giving the market the wrong signal regarding the deal neither of these factors apply here. This isn't bullish on my part it's just what it is. Directors were given shares to reward if their actions resulted in shareprice increasing from the option price ( which was 20%} higher than the price at the time. The directors took actions which resulted in shareprice increasing dramatically. No one likes this crystallisation when it happens but he's increased holding and likely to need cash being in Aussie. Think it's a mountain out of a molehill personally. I believe individuals should be rewarded for a gold job.

Well that 1m went through the market at 4.5p on Friday but can't see the trades on the 18th just yet. However I don't see why they would be any different.

With regards to sale of KS shares I'm not sure they were sold on open market. The way it was reported implies possibly not. In interview he stated it was his intention to sell warrants to crystallise cash but also increase shareholding. He increased shareholding by a million. Looking at the mathes crystallised 6m at a cost of 93k, sold 5m at 4.5 so £225 k capital gains tax 20% on 5 m at gain 2.95 p per share is £36 k. So KS realised £93k after tax and increased holding in company by a million. As to his monetary requirements I cannot comment but he increased his shareholding and realised some cash. They have to realise warrants at some point so is what it is.

I see Bitcoin is having a wobble this morning. I hope those saying it can't be controlled will wake up a bit, it's been controlled by mere words from certain quarters. One of those who caused it to rise to 55k in the first place.

Below from 12/01/General update mentions Q2/21 start and earlier 12m find in Cyprus.


"Meanwhile the Company is continuing to progress its exploration and development activities across its portfolio, which includes a drilling programme being undertaken within the joint venture and the start-up of field activities elsewhere. Notably we are expecting to increase the pace of our involvement in Venus Minerals, with the expectation that a diamond drilling programme at the Magellan Project can commence by Q2 2021; the current limitations imposed by travel restrictions notwithstanding. We are also fast-tracking some other exciting copper-gold project opportunities in the region, further details of which will be announced in due course."

Other Developments:

-- A two-rig diamond drilling programme for 4,000 to 5,000m commenced last week at Kiziltepe to test vein extensions at Arzu South, Arzu North, Derya and Banu, with the aim of further expanding the Kiziltepe resource; drilling may continue at the Karakavak prospect once drilling at Kiziltepe concludes.

-- Environmental, community and permitting activities have continued for the Tavsan and Salinbas projects through the winter, with resource drilling activities due to commence at Tavsan from spring 2021.

-- Percussion drilling by Venus Minerals in Cyprus for 1,705m (comprising 15 holes) on a conceptual structural target, has discovered an up to 12m thick, 50 x 300m silica-pyrite-chlorite alteration zone containing anomalous gold geochemistry at a depth of 50 to 80m below surface; planning is being finalised for a diamond drilling programme to commence on the Magellan Project in the coming months.

Two drills drilling at kiziltepe paul but we have yet to kick off again in Cyprus. Apparently we are sharing a rig with Chf.

Have to say I'm not caring much about the share price. If we don't have to raise capital via share issue (and we don't) then sit back and what will be will be in the medium to long term. If anything I'll add more if the price continues to drop. For more obvious short term upside there are plenty of other shares around to trade (albeit for much higher risk).
