When you say 13 months late....? It's not 13 months late unless you expected it to be completed the same day as they announced it!??It's taken 13 months.It's taken 13 months in an unprecedented global pandemic!! I for one remain of the opinion that this is about to be an excellent example of the stock market moving wealth from the impatient to the patient!

I hope there is news too as I remain invested to a lesser extent, and genuinely hope for the best for all the LTH's that engage regularly here. I know I can sound negative about all this but I am trying to be realistic. If there is no news tomorrow I would have to consider taking more off the table. AAU don't release news on Fridays so that will be another week, and I would start reading more into the throw away interview comment about the remaining structural issue myself.

These are three big announcements from recent RNS's that says it is happening.

1· Pre-payments under the terms of the agreements totalling US$2.75 million have been made to Ariana and Proccea, of which Ariana has received US$1.5 million.

2· Approval received from the Competition Authority, representing the final regulatory condition precedent for the conclusion of the expanded Joint Venture.

3. We are now working with Özaltin and Proccea to finalise the Transaction, so that we can commence activities across our projects within the framework of our new JV.

News tomorrow?

I agree the delay is very frustrating but no reason to think it isn't going to happen. When it does I think it will catch a few people out.

Has anyone taken the time to look at where other miners and explos are from their highs-PUR -30%PXC -16%PALM- 23.7%HOC. -31%CHF -33%There are some that have fared better but we certainly aren't alone and I feel we have more chance of regaining our quickly than many on Aim. Our situation is probably more frustrating than most though...

As it stands we know the deal is going ahead. If not they would have to announce it.

Is it being priced for no deal ? We have no idea whether the original deal is going ahead or whether there is some last minute snag. We have no idea if another deal with another company has been mooted. Personally, I don't care whether the deal goes through or not - as we debated last year, there are pros and cons.

I could go on and on - the salient point is that we do not know what is going on. That is why the share price keeps falling.

This is now being priced for no deal and we have no reason to think that it won't happen. Even if it doesn't the company is worth much more on fundamentals. When the deal is signed this is going to explode imho.

Yes, we had a good run up in the first half of 2020, but in the last 5 months, AAU has dropped the best part of 30%. I don't hold any shares 'less promising' than that, thankfully.

I did say it could be many, there is clearly more than one seller but there's is definitely at least one very large seller. We all understand everyone's fed up and many are reducing, it's clear from the sentiment of this BB.

If there is no news by the end of this week, there will certainly be more than one seller then ! I accept that any company can make mistakes and have bad luck, but to continually score own goals is getting too much for me.

If anyone from Ariana is reading this, all we are asking for are the reasons for the delay.

"the seller" being stated again. You don't know its one seller. It is equally, if not more likely that many people who have invested here are wary of the Aim circus and see a bod who have a deal that's currently 13 months late, all the known dependencies resolved, and silence. You'd have to be emotionally attached to not at least consider that. Many people I'm sure would argue that the sensible thing to do right now would be to derisk your holding, the warning signs are there.

Testing that weak 4.5p support again if it breaks then down to 4.25, if it holds we have a bullish double bottom.

If it's the 20m seller they must be close. We won't know until it suddenly turns, certainly a lot of unhappy shareholders so could be many but feels too systematic. Happy with my bargains whatever.
