Feel free to correct me if I am mistaken here.

Gold Silver futures are based on contract sellers obligation to provide physical Gold/Silver at given date. Correct?

IF ALL those who entered into contract to buy the underlying asset CHOSE to DEMAND the Gold/Silver and as there is a MASSIVE SHORTAGE of Gold and Silver, the ones who are naked to the OBLIGATION to fulfil the contract and supply the Gold and Silver WHERE WOULD THEY BE?

Just like Oil going into negetive Gold and Silver would go into super Positive because those who are locked into fulfilling the future contracts HAVE to buy at ANY cost.

What am I missing here?

I like Kerim, and I like the fact he loves his job especially the prospecting side. But should the company do so well as to be valued in the hundreds of millions then perhaps there may come a time when he might move sideways and allow a new "corporate man" to take/share the helm.

Such a scenario will not arise for some years yet. Until then I am content to see the status quo continue, as it should, for though not perfect the recent management performance has seen the share price triple and value will out in the end.

Can't disagree soul but I think too many people on here watch the shareprice toooooo closely! The prospects are great! The share price will catch up.

Buying at bombed out prices ahead of the news, which must surely be next week. And perhaps gold also recovering.
Change of sentiment coming perhaps. Sun is shining. We have a new vaccine. Turkey is investing in gold production.

It will be interesting if this Reddit group can attack the silver manipulation and it pops. At least they are highlighting the disparity in the market between the protections the big boys get as opposed to us mere mortals.

All eyes on silver when the US opens.

Very modest buying at half the volume of modest selling, but bid and offer moving up. News Monday I'll wager. The wait will be over and a line can be drawn.

Has anyone noticed how closely AAU now follows the gold price pattern? Probably no coincidence that we saw a tick up from the dip today at almost the same time as the GP jump. Last month in particular is almost a mirror image but goes back a while. I know this isn't necessarily a shock, but I remember observations a few years ago of how I dependant AAU seemed to be of the wider market.

soulsauce, if you use the ADVFN app on a mobile or tablet it shows who you are replying to. But it doesn't if using a Web browser. It's a bit of a mish-mash.

Bigglesbingham can I make a suggestion. You often come in to a conversation later in the day and make several posts but often it is hard to see who you are replying to like in post 3227.
Is it possible to reference your replies with the post number.
