18/11/2020 15:31 | Some desperate seller out there , who would sell at sub 5p with deal circular days away?? Beyond me. | bigglesbingham
18/11/2020 15:23 | Any ex-dividend-date will be confirmed only after the motion to approve the deal is passed at a General Meeting. If the dividend declaration is tied to the deal it may be shortly after, but more likely it will be some weeks later. | thanksamillion
18/11/2020 14:12 | No cut off date mentioned yet, not surprising as the goal posts keep moving. | soulsauce
18/11/2020 14:10 | As I've said previously, I re-invested my expected divi soon after it was announced, leaving myself skint and now watching my re-investment tumbling. For those who are still in a position to top up, are current buys eligible for divi or was there a cut off date? | bosbus

17/11/2020 22:53 | Develop salinbas alone is a non starter end off. Sounds good but it's not realistic , certainly to exploit the potential. That why they have done what they have done. If JV didn't go ahead we'd explore a bit more over next two to three years firm up on a resource and sell it. This is the way you will get returns over a shorter timeframe 1-2 yrs rather than 5-10. | bigglesbingham
17/11/2020 21:03 | Ahmen to that Charles. | soulsauce
17/11/2020 20:57 | Soul - I hear what you are saying and hope you are right. I'm just about midway between the develop Salinbas ourselves and JV it camps. I trust Kerims instinct as well as his undoubted skills as CEO and as a geologist. That is why I have been adding more on the dips. I just hope we see some progress before despair sets in and investors turn their backs in preference for something that actually moves! | charles clore
17/11/2020 20:46 | I hear what you are saying Charles but without someone to do the heavy lifting there won't be a Salinbas project, certainly not in time for most of us to benefit from it. I am still of the belief that the money received will be spent well on good projects leaving much of the current Aau as a free(ish) but valuable carry in the background. | soulsauce
17/11/2020 20:42 | Me to and where did the plural of untimely come from MDV has only been buying, KS did one crystallisation of warrants and reduced total holding by 12% which frees up money and some of which he said would be used to crystallise more warrants and increase his holdings. A lot of venting at the expense of the directors will dissipate as soon as the JV done and those venting will be praising its human nature. The frustration to me is that by more professional investor relations these frustrations could have been avoided. But hopefully some positive rnss will come shortly. | bigglesbingham
17/11/2020 20:40 | Soul - I think we mostly agree this is a company with a future. However, this year has been disastrous for many reasons, not least of which has been the delaying impact of covid and this has eaten away at the confidence of even the most ardent AAU aficionados. Having said that I am confident of the future of PM s. But I am having second thoughts about the future of a Salinbas project with a majority jv partner leaving AAU shareholders with only 23% of the project. I know that $35m is a goodly sum to have in the bank but how much income will we have forfeited after say, 2 years production? | charles clore
17/11/2020 19:20 | Erm, I still have faith! Lots. | shortarm

17/11/2020 19:17 | Bitcoin just passed $17,500> A better return than gold this year. | charles clore
17/11/2020 19:17 | I think it must have been quite untimely on the T shirt sales too. Before that 'unfortunate' week everyone seemed to want a T shirt however I think now demand must have cratered. There are certainly some credibility issues to address, that is obvious from a lot of the posts. However I think they can do it. They need to get the JV done asap and update on Tavsan for starters. Surely a quarterly update this week too. | soulsauce
17/11/2020 19:09 | Director dealings at untimely(timely)poin | 8rad
17/11/2020 18:34 | A major part of the fall was due to a significant market crash and gold stock haven't recovered the same as other stocks. Agree the sale was Unfortubately timed but it depended on KS personal requirements. It was however definitely Ill managed as they didn't take the initiative and were reactive. I also agree the self imposed deadline wasn't a great idea. However some on this board want gant charts which would be effectively a self imposed deadline on every project which would in my opinion be a nightmare. They have never been great at investor relations and I've told them on many occasions. Once the JV goes through and we get bigger that aspect has to improve . As for reverting to normal aim companies don't agree. But we don't have to. The is a board | bigglesbingham
17/11/2020 16:31 | Again, I differ slightly. Thanks to the ill-timed director dealings along with missing a self-designated deadline, the dividend now at best will only take us back to where we were in October before these two events, so I don't believe it will be that significant if and when it arrives. The company, I believe, is still a good one and a very good investment but it has started to behave like an archetypal AIM company which thankfully it never appeared to be in the past. Hopefully, the mistakes will not be repeated and we will go back to being a company that under-promises and over-delivers. | jaf1948
17/11/2020 15:16 | The divi May act as a disincentive to profit take as cash will be received. In fact many will buy more shares with the cash imho because by that time the salinbas exploration will be on the immediate horizon and that could be a blue sky event for this share. | bigglesbingham
17/11/2020 14:44 | When is the plant extension happening? Is this dependent on the deal? | drh3
17/11/2020 14:20 | I think there will be some profit taking, I mean my own average buy price is just over 2p and I'm not alone so there will be many people derisking by taking some off the table I imagine. But the long term prospects here are plain to see imo, and as Biggles said the divi is an added incentive to stick around. | kirbs4 |
