I'm happy to wait. We know they are producing lots of gold and silver. We know they are operationally and financially sound and we know the company is substantially undervalued and that means a nice surprise in store. What's not to like?

I get the frustration over lack of news. However, this is where you earn your money, bu choosing the right investment and then sitting on your hands. I have sold too many companies too cheaply just to then watch them multi bag. AAU are going places with or without the deal. My preference would be with, but I'm happy to hold of the JV doesn't happen (which I personally can't see).I will be holding and accumulating at these levels.

Some people have the patience of a gnat. It may have been quiet these last 2/3 weeks because the senior management team have been taken their well deserved holidays. Lots of news t/f over next few weeks. No datelines missed. What’s the beef?!

What do you think they should do? It would be ridiculous to issue snippets without the whole story. We know who the partner is, we know they are ratifying through government , we know discussions are happening about Proccea buy in. What more do you think they should say prior to deal being ready to put to shareholders?

The only rns which was due was the quarterlies which was 16th August last year. As to other matters drill results, tarsvan, deal etc these are all obviously being worked on and it's natural to want positive news ASAP as this will or should affect shareprice. I take solace from fact that is has been quiet but we have traded a significant number of shares above 5 p creating a very nice base for next leg up.

I don't think anything bad is about to happen....dont get me wrong....I know we still making plenty money in gold and silver.....just wish there was more heard about JV is going......but no doubt there is a good reason why we being kept like mushrooms....lol....Still feel all is OK.....

I agree if we were going to be in attendance, but this year I suspect it will just be an administrative procedure with hopefully all the votes submitted by proxy in advance of the meeting making sign off straight forward. I'll miss not being able to go in person and hope the "old norm" is restored for next year.

Are they going to get the AGM on Friday out of the way before announcing the final Deal details (Proccea cash buy in etc) on 1st September as markets closed on 31st(Bank Holiday). Perhaps not the best time for a big announcement, as the City doesn't really get back into top gear until say the second week of September. But committed by last RNS. My money is on Tuesday 1st Sept.

Turkey is poised to produce a record amount of gold this year and the central bank will probably buy all of it -- at prices near record highs.

Production by one of the world’s top buyers of the precious metal is expected to increase 16% to 44 tons this year, Hasan Yucel, the head of Turkey’s Gold Miners Association, said in an interview.

Legislation introduced in 2017 gives the central bank the right of first refusal to purchase gold mined in the country at prevailing market prices. The value of its gold reserves surged to an all-time high in the week through Aug. 7, only to drop 5% a week later, the biggest decline in five months. That effectively mirrored the moves in market prices over the same period.
