I believe Kerim & Michael are back from holidays next week, so perhaps news on the Deal etc. will start to flow pretty soon now. Got to be a done deal! It's amazing the gold price was around $1460/ oz last November when the MoU was first announced. How the market has moved on since then. Let's get going guys & girls. What can we achieve with our new powers (cash, man power, facilities etc.) before the end of year?

Cannot see us lasting long at current parameters.

Gold and silver looking very tasty again. Now profit takers are out, could be ready to se higher highs and higher lows. Listening to a podcast comparing 2020 with 1979 and suggesting that we could see $5000 gold. That would be around $4500 profit per ounce on Kiziltepe gold. Silver at $100. Company won't last long under those return parameters.

My strategy now will be to buy on the dips.

Put some funds in today but held back incase there's a pull back, more than happy if your predictions come about. Have a good evening all.

Agreed. The chart looks lubbly jubbly. I reckon we'll move to around the 6.5p level soon enough. Not forgetting that back in the dim and distant past, there's pretty much no resistance to shake a stick at. Blue sky ahead...

Personally, my scriblings indicate AAU is now in a new, steep, rising, trend channel which indicates around 8p in September. After that I suspect it will level out for a while.

Looks to be consolidating prior to move to 6.5p in the short to medium term. What else do we need in our favour? Nothing springs to mind.

Good article and well worth a read. Written in March this year with a gold price more than $300 below that of today, producing gold to guidance plus quite a lot of silver as well. What's not to like about this little gem?

You're right CC, I was referring back to this article in the Daily Mail where KS said anything over $1,300 was cream and surpassed their forward GP forecast

That (edit: cream comment) was probably back in the days when we were paying back the Kiziltepe loan. Now we are virtually debt free apart from a small credit facility the profits from production mostly go straight to the bottom line. Virtually a cash cow.

Even before the latest upswing in the price of the PM's we were very profitable with production costs running at $615 per ounce, as Kerim said any price (from memory)higher than circa $1,400 is cream

Lott, read quite a few gold analyses this week and what is certain is there is a gold analysis for every conceivable position, both up and down - take your pick! But we are all gold positive here and what is reasonably certain is that we are due a jv update any time before the end of the month. And surely some Cyprus news soon!

Finally have some more funds freed up...is the correction in gold over? Any thoughts? I feel it could go either way. Long term trend is up but it would be nice to time it right for once!I'll be adding here most likely with news due imminently I'm risking missing the boat as well...good fun when you see past the money!

I've not sold any on this dip... Personally I think POG may need a week or two to settle down before its next run, but I'll be happy if it carries on northwards tomorrow!!
