Assuming the JV goes ahead and the POG remains above $2k. Given the amount of shares in issue I’d be interested to know what other people’s realistic price targets are for this share?

Personally I’ll be very tempted to sell out around 10p given my average of below 2p or am I underestimating the potential here of where this could go?

Just coincidence I know, but the share price followed the gold action today.

There are other ways of shaking out weak sellers. Rather than lowering the price, how about raising it? Sometimes that works too.

Rennicks, you seem to be gathering quite a few of these shares. Nice to see people believing in AAU.

Yes there is a persistent seller around, but they wont be forever, on plus side, able to top up with 236K today.;)

some days ago buys were reported as sells because the deal price was below the mid price. i know cos i was buying a few. (this also happens when reporting is done late and bid/offer has moved meantime, so one can never be entirely sure about the stats, buys or sells.) this suits mms of course.

i wouldn't be surprised if they actually have buyer(s) and are trying to shake out weak holders, this is pure speculation on my part.

CC - Making headway here is hard work with so many seemingly content with selling at a level which does not even remotely reflect the imminent potential here, it's galling to LTH's who have researched the company in depth but hey ho that's the nature of things and momentum is still evident, a good RNS will have people scrambling back again

Yes it won't go the the new JV or it would dilute the deal

I think well see new highs very shortly for both AG, AU and AAU.

Would love to know how much cash is sitting in the JV account at the moment. On that point, I presume that this cash is going to be split 50/50 prior to Ozaltin coming on board. That would mean a big dividend payout from the JV to the company (not shareholders). Don't believe we have heard about this yet.

Gold up $31 and still we get sellers, contrary 'investing' at its best

Also silver price increasing from $15 to now around $28+ is important as this is a credit, and we produce ten times as much silver as we do gold. I seriously think we will see some bumper full year results, regardless of whether the gold grades are slightly lower. Very exciting times to be a shareholder as there are in my view multiple price catalysts.

The falling Dollar is a significant counter balance to the rise in pog, so fundamentals are important here.

Agree Biggles that there is enough going on here to command a continuous rise and we have seen that, albeit fairly slowly. I think the deal will be transformational although want to hear what the intentions of Ozaltin are to get Salinbas up and running and what more we will see in terms of exploration. All the above is why I am invested here and will be increasing my position for the foreseeable future unless the story changes. However, I do think the gold price is relevant here particularly given the size of the margins in play currently with Kiziltepe, with the added recent increases going straight to the bottom line. I see this as having a substantial impact (given the size of AAU) on returns for the second part of this year and giving a very tasty cash bonus versus what would realistically have been expected at the start of the year.

Furthermore, I suspect that we are going to hear back around an updated assessment for Salinbas, as the last one was based on POG of $1,250:

A scoping study focused on Salinbas and completed in 2015, demonstrated potential for the project to yield strong financial returns, with NPV (8%) at US$108M, pre-tax IRR of
28%, and payback secured within approximately 3.3 years over the Life of
Mine ("LoM") at a gold price of US$1,250/oz

Precisely I don’t believe this is currently a play on the price of gold, we aren’t producing enough for that, who knows what the price will be in 2 years with tarsvan producing. Don’t get me wrong it helps! To me the increase is due to the all of the potential available which I believe will come to fruition over the next few months and years. Can you imagine them hitting similar grades to hot maden from all their nearby licenses. It may well be many many multiples from here. Plenty on near term news flow to come.

Couldnt agree more Charles - this share just EXUDES 10p+ - would imagine a gold mining stock revaluation might more realistically value gold and silver in situ reserves

This should be at least double the current price imho. And no I am not going to waste my time justifying that statement. There are some things one just knows.

A gold market display of over exuberance is fine by me if it makes us all disgustingly and rapidly wealthy. Mustn't lose sight of why we're here :-)
