Obviously seeing a large holder raises concerns. But logically your problem is my problem. If I went selling chunks into the market it wouldn't take much to have an adverse effect on the shareprice which would could have a huge impact on myself and other holders who I wouldn't want to adversely affect. As I have alluded to many times AAU may be taken out. However if it isn't; because my holding is relatively large there is an argument which states that there are other avenues available particularly if institutions want a piece of the action without buying small amounts in the open market. I'd have to notify market if I went below 3% anyway. All I can say is I believe the shares are starting their journey rather than coming to the end so why look at selling. I'm currently a buyer. Hope that helps put your mind at rest. However large holders are bound to sell some as it grows its the natural course of events.

The sellers will be kicking themselves if the big news hits the street in days.Surely not much more patience needed now. Smelling the coffee.

So what kind of behaviour is that if not persistent?

I still don't believe there is a persistent seller.

Buy 250,000 at 5.2p, sell a day or so later at 5.4p (which it may have risen to on your buy alone), pocket £500, wait for the price to drop again (which it may do on your sale alone) and start again.

This seems to me to be a more plausible explanation but I can't prove it either way.

Can't help but love that dish formation going right back to 2011. One can only imagine what it will do when it breaks out

Buying any football team would be the quickest way to lose all those hard earned gains bigglesbingham and give you a constant headache.

Your only here once. In answer to your question yes. I did visit site in Oct 2018 and was very impressed. The enthusiasm regarding salinbas is palpable but this doesn't always show through in the under promise overdeliver ethos of management.

Another 44k in the bag, for less than what MDV was happy to pay, suit's me. Little and often, no doubt will pick up a chunk when it's sold into the news, then sit back and watch them fly. IMO ;)

Another small lemming retreat moves the bid down on tiny volume, hopefully the lower ask will draw in more potential LTH's

When you look at the 2-year chart in the header, you really do have to say "let the trend be your friend"!

My first buys in AAU were 200k shares at 1.623p on 2nd November 2016, 200k shares at 1.7p on 26th May 2017 and 200k shares at 1.33p on 30th June 2017; I've dipped in and out a few times since. It really has been a slow burner but the value is starting to shine through now.

10p is nothing. This will be bought out for multiples of that. My suggestion is by Ozaltin within the next 24 months, more likely 18 if PM prices stay high (which they will) and Salinbas becomes the monster we know it is (which it will). A cheap takeout is 20p in my book although likely to go for more as I say.A reasonable fair value is 6-7 times free cash flow (or closer to 10-12 times for a major). We are nowhere near those levels and therefore the potential at 10p is staggering. That's why I will still be a buyer at those levels :)

Let's get to 10p first and then decide where it is likely to go next.

My view is at 10p it becomes more of and exploration play with the further increases coming via finds in Cyprus and salinbas. I went in on an exploration play so that doesn't worry me atall especially with the new partner and also potential of salinbas. So my view is easily 10p based on fundamentals pipeline production, but if you have an appetite for exploration backed by existing cash producing assets why wouldn't you stay for blue sky potential. Thing is with targets and human nature is that once a target is reached there is usually a reason that it's reached and another reason materialises for staying. I believe AAU will be taken out at some point at a level significantly higher than where we are now. The road will have natural peaks and troughs as individuals cash in but those that stay the long haul will reap the rewards. A recent sproat interview explained this theory very well.
