01/1/2021 12:00 | Yes is he. The only factors that determine the monthly updates on MINING performance are the price, hash rate and difficulty. It is disingenuous to suggest these factors, entirely out of his control, had any impact on his selling. Additionally If he wanted to sell ahead of releasing some form of adverse news he would be guilty of insider trading, and nomads wouldn't have allowed. | suffersnofools
01/1/2021 11:55 | Suffers, AVC is not suggesting his sell will effect the hash or BTC, read his post, it's written in perfect English!Savvy investors in ARB will look at the companies ability to turn a growing profit and maximise shareholder value. The margin in December along with the current BTC assets held will tell us if they are doing this.If they are going to report higher margins, higher profits and increased asset value, which should be expected, why do you propose he would look to sell any holdings? | hootza616
01/1/2021 11:52 | Also if any of you cats have an hour to spare listen to these 2 guys. I found it very inspiring a great way to think about the New Year. At the end I was convinced that Chamath should be in charge of the world.... | gspanner
01/1/2021 11:51 | HNY, Not sure whether this has been posted.... All looking good. | gspanner
01/1/2021 11:34 | If Peter Wall was negative on ARBs long term success he could have sold all of his options. I think this is his first CEO position and I am sure his salary is modest. There is no harm in him taking some money off the table. With all of his warrants/ options in ARB it is likely 50%+ of his entire wealth is probably in ARB with the share price in the 30p+ region. | brasso3
01/1/2021 11:21 | Q: Secondly I wonder if Peter Wall's readiness to sell £400,000 worth of shares at 29.5p ea. yesterday, just a week before the issuance of an update, can be taken in any way as a pointer as to the effect the content of the update may have on the share price?AVC - How does peter selling affect the BTC price or hashrate?Lol | suffersnofools
01/1/2021 09:50 | The CEO and CTO at Bidstack both sold shares that helped crash the shareprice for an impending major M&A.The CEO selling here may just be another establishment ploy to pullback the shareprice. Its a dirty game | aidenabettin

31/12/2020 16:50 | Not hoping for a lower price at all, genuinely convinced ARB has everything it needs for long term success. Just saying what usually happens when directors sell.Happy to wait out the cycle, still very happy with the profit I made here and hope all of you realise your targets at some point. HNY! | hootza616
31/12/2020 15:43 | Interesting stuff, thanks guys. | gaffer73
31/12/2020 15:42 | BTC is just maths - that's what most fail to grasp. 4 year cycle. Rinse, repeat. | suffersnofools
31/12/2020 15:40 | Everyone said same in early 2017 as it matched the model.. | suffersnofools
31/12/2020 15:27 | That is an extra GBP1,816,800 in ARBs bank now. That should allow most BTC mined in Jan/ Feb to be kept in HODL mode. | brasso3
31/12/2020 15:19 | Well, the US traders don't seem to give a hoot, share price holding up well despite a slight fall in the BTC price. And a nice 175,000 buy after the bell here too. | crypto nugget
31/12/2020 15:04 | 2017 was driven by retail investors. 2021 will be driven by large institutions and companies etc. Look at google trend data with the search term 'buy bitcoin'. | brasso3
31/12/2020 15:01 | OTC markets don't seem to care... | alm6
31/12/2020 14:26 | Gaffer - read up on the S2F model that explains how the decreasing block reward drives the BTC price up way better than I can.If S2F follows the pattern to 288k a year from now, ARB will be well over a tenner so I won't care, I'll be on my 70ft yacht in the Agean :) | suffersnofools
31/12/2020 14:22 | Hootza - I know you're out so want a lower buy in price but that's rubbish. The mm's dropped the bid a penny 40 seconds after that RNS and were met by a wall of buyers. Peter top sliced, just like I did. Good luck to him. You sold ALL your holding :)This is going MUCH higher next few weeks with US buying, irrespective of BTC price. | suffersnofools
31/12/2020 14:18 | Transaction fees would become more than 50% income around 2046. I'll have sold arb before then. | suffersnofools
31/12/2020 14:09 | He timed that well.Without Half day trading this would have dropped 10% at least this afternoon on that news.If BTC continues to rise until Monday it will be forgotten.Director selling is a clear sign the top has been found.Obvs not applying for dual exchange anytime soon or any plans for Divi.GLA and happy new year! | hootza616
31/12/2020 14:04 | Thanks for the link. That is basically what I was getting at. So the question for Argo is at what point does the halving become unprofitable before transaction fees are introduced across the board. No issues if bitcoin carries on the way its going I suppose. | gaffer73
31/12/2020 14:04 | Complete non-event. Just a glimmer for the trolls. | suffersnofools |
