I think it's a balanced article. The solution is there but requires a high BTC price. What will the BTC price be in 2140 as the global currency?!It's really a complete red herring IMO.

Take the revenue and divide by the number of directors to get each director’s salary.

First time I’ve heard that although I guess if I ask my 12 year old nephew he might say something similar.

Do you stake ETH and DOT?

I get 12% staking interest with my DOT in my Kraken account.

No. You seriously think we're all investing in BTC with no long term solution for how the network is funded?hTtPs://hackernoon.com/what-happens-when-the-last-bitcoin-is-mined-yg113e73

#Bitcoin is now the 18th largest currency in the world. It just flipped the Singapore dollar Flag of Singapore by market capitalization.

even with BTC at this price this miner will not even make £5m profit PER YEAR

salaries are £1m per Director lol maybe more once they pay themselves juicy bonuses

there's only been ONE Director buy ever lol ... at 3.5p and even that was a tiny one

Surely the fees would be far too expensive though? As an alternative to normal transactions there's a lot of work involved. If people were to use bitcoin for every day purchases there would be an extraordinary amount of work. As you mention its a long way off yet but I'm just curious.

About time the left start another meltdown over the amount of electricity used mining cryptos. Regular as clockwork. What was it last time? Uses as much leccy mining coins as the whole of Norway LOL. Would be an interesting calculation for some mathematic minded person to work out how much power it will take to mine all the BTC's up to the last one.

lol - they get transaction fees insteadLast BTC anticipated to be mined in 2140 at current rates so not a problem you'll need to worry about.

What happens to bitcoin when the rewards for mining become unprofitable? If every transaction relies on a miner to add to the block surely the whole system will collapse?

More argo YouTube share tipping from the states. If the RobinHood crowd get wind of this with their stimulus cheques anything can happen. It’s a different world over there..
