I’m watching live btc price hitting 29.8k. Lots of commentary saying this is a massive line to cross to get through 30k.

SNF/Brasso, I sold 200k shares 34-36p, at a price between 5/6x my initial investment, essentially the minimum number to pay for the free ride from now to wherever this ends up. Nothing is certain, but to the 4 reasons you state SNF I would add:

5) Due to FCA banning crypto derivative products this remains the best run/highest profile company for surrogate crypto exposure.

Thanks to SNF, Brasso and others on here as my £500 venture into BTC is doing nicely. Decided to add a few Ethereum as from what I can see it’s more a play on DeFI and perhaps a bigger gearing than BTC due to MCap.

Small potatoes I know but keeps things interesting and holding for longer term. (Sadly coinbase aren’t cheap for small amounts, but in the longer won’t be complaining).

Just a reminder that ARB have a small holding of Polkadot. That is up 90% in the last few weeks.

Im expecting 3 major M&A events this year. BIDS &BRSD hopefully before the end of Q1 with ARB to follow.I think they will try and keep a lid on the shareprice but its not goingbto be easy with few options open to do it. Lets hope they dont have a fire in one of their units

ARB got to a point at 39p this week where it was 50% of my portfolio. I had to sell a few also to diversify. It does not change my belief in ARB and BTC. ARB is a great outfit but there are always the remote chances of something happening out of their control (eg. fire at the mining facility). It looks like BTC is going to breach $30k soon so I expect that will pull ARB above 40p.

I'm just looking at the chart. That is a beautiful bullish pennant forming! Target to the upside breakout would be 55p within a week to 10 days imo.

Happy New Year!

Well, why does anyone sell if the they believe in the company and it’s future prospects? I sold approx 25% of my holdings recently to de-risk my portfolio to reinvest in other opportunities and so diversify my portfolio, as it suits my retirement agenda. Some might say prudent risk management, others that I’m just a trader. I’ve no idea of Peter’s personal wealth or financial status but am comfortable with his sell. No more to add.

Here’s to a prosperous 2021 for all holders.

He would sell because he wanted to realise a profit! He’s got a life to pay for the same as you and I.

I sold 400k shares above 37p. This de-risks my position. It’s what a SAVVY investor does. However, it has no bearing on my expectation that the share price will be much higher in the coming weeks.

If you believe it is going higher why did you sell your entire position?

We have four catalysts for a long overdue re-rating here. I consider them in order of potential impact to be:

1. US buying via new second tier OTC access stateside. US buyers have shown with RIOT and our other peers that they attribute much higher valuations to these stocks.

2. Closing the gaping valuation gap. We are ludicrously undervalued compared to our peers by a factor as large as 10. ARB if valued in same range as other miners we would already be at £2 plus. Not only this, but our hash rare will EXCEED by some margin that of RIOT and MARA through most of 2021, as their new hardware only comes online in October. So for the majority of this bull run ARB will be the to performer in both hash rate AND efficiency. Margins are going to be obscene as is cash generation.

3. Bid interest. ALL of the major miners must be looking at us as a cheap way to acquire additional capacity at a time when new hardware is impossible to come by. We could wake up one day soon to a hostile bid in the £1-£2 region. Who wants to be out the stock on that day for the sake of buying back a few pence cheaper?

4. The surging BTC price.

Yes is he. The only factors that determine the monthly updates on MINING performance are the price, hash rate and difficulty. It is disingenuous to suggest these factors, entirely out of his control, had any impact on his selling. Additionally If he wanted to sell ahead of releasing some form of adverse news he would be guilty of insider trading, and nomads wouldn't have allowed.

Suffers, AVC is not suggesting his sell will effect the hash or BTC, read his post, it's written in perfect English!Savvy investors in ARB will look at the companies ability to turn a growing profit and maximise shareholder value. The margin in December along with the current BTC assets held will tell us if they are doing this.If they are going to report higher margins, higher profits and increased asset value, which should be expected, why do you propose he would look to sell any holdings?

Also if any of you cats have an hour to spare listen to these 2 guys. I found it very inspiring a great way to think about the New Year. At the end I was convinced that Chamath should be in charge of the world....

If Peter Wall was negative on ARBs long term success he could have sold all of his options. I think this is his first CEO position and I am sure his salary is modest. There is no harm in him taking some money off the table. With all of his warrants/ options in ARB it is likely 50%+ of his entire wealth is probably in ARB with the share price in the 30p+ region.

Q: Secondly I wonder if Peter Wall's readiness to sell £400,000 worth of shares at 29.5p ea. yesterday, just a week before the issuance of an update, can be taken in any way as a pointer as to the effect the content of the update may have on the share price?AVC - How does peter selling affect the BTC price or hashrate?Lol

The CEO and CTO at Bidstack both sold shares that helped crash the shareprice for an impending major M&A.The CEO selling here may just be another establishment ploy to pullback the shareprice. Its a dirty game
