3) sold at 1p
4) said on this forum he/ she made corrct decision to sell when share price was at 1.4. (Verbatim)
5) claims to be an expert in every aspect of project management
6) never claimed to be an expert in trading
7) wants us to believe he/she does not have an agenda
8) treats us all as fools
9) more active on a down day
10) happy to have a discussion on his/her terms. Will not answer straight forward questions

I have to admit, you are very good at painting a negative picture HITS.No doubt I will be called a cheerleader but you should try and be more balanced! Char followed the same path and hit gas!

Speaking of other O&G companies, there's been some very iffy goings-on at CLON over the last month or so.

A big raise at the very end of April...

... allowing a cash plus shares buy-in to a licence in early May...

...a drill start at that licence...

...five very upbeat and positive drill progress RNSes throughout May

... and then the duster bombshell RNS of yesterday.

An all too familiar pattern... you have to love AIM, or at least grudgingly admire the breath-takingly bare-faced shenanigans it invariably turns an utterly blind eye to.

The difference here is that at the time, enough people were prepared to believe Sanderson, because (again at the time) he hadn't yet shown himself to be a purely self-serving fantasist and fairy tale spinner.

In stark contrast and as is painfully obvious, the market doesn't believe a single word that George says - and it has all the historical evidence it needs and more to support that complete lack of trust.

...and then there's the red or black extreme high risk gearing on the field...

hits making the same silly mistake thinking all shares need to be long term commitments .... thinks all should be the next amazon ...first gas rns , particularly if it becomes tv news worthy and it rockets..remember the gatwick gusher was on all tv channels ... ultimately it was nothing but that didn't stop the share price rocketing ....

There would indeed be value if George delivers on both sufficient full production by July 1st and on a successful production-doubling sidetrack by Oct 1st (and without having to suspend production while the drill's being attempted).

If His Pinocchio-ship delivers on both those things, then it's happy days, without a doubt. However if he fails to deliver on either one of the two, then there's really no value here at all.

It remains solely about... (on the count of three, everyone)...

1...
2...
3...

"How much gas and by when, George?"

Either way, it's rather annoying. But, if George delivers (my patience is wearing thin) I feel there is value down here.

3Put: yes, I agree. He’s either not a very expert finance expert or the $20mm. loan claim falls under the “porky” heading, what?

JT: They should have taken the bank loan. A half decent ceo would have this up at 100m mcap given the record high gas prices.

3Put: when, how and how much do you think they should have raised? They're spending at least twice the £12mm loan money on Poundland, which they said they expected to complete for £2.5mm. People invested on this premise, not on tens of millions. The gas price was a fraction of what it is now when they started trying to finance it and they appear to have turned down at an early stage a bank loan offer of $20mm. for it. The economics of Poundland itself have improved out of all recognition but the financial outlook for Anguish looks a bit bleak.

JT:That is not my point. They could / should have raised it all at once like every other Oil & gas play. Rather than 1 bag I could have had 10.

3Put: if they hadn’t raised yet more cash through placings, they’d probably be out of business already. The second placing with Aleph is not nailed on, though. It just needs a “no” vote to the increase in authorised share capital at the EGM.

How can you be down Chick, you said you sold ?

It's up almost 100% from the lows and it would have been a lot higher if George didn't raise all the time!!

Will George deliver ? Will the sidetrack deliver 1.5? Next few months are going to be exciting.

chickbait: 3put. ANGS was supposed to be 1st gas at SFB by the 1st of June. Do you not feel that Georgie Porgie pudding in pies may be bending the truth and telling Porkie Pies?

- 1st of June has passed, where is the gas?

Sincere apologies to anyone who listened to my ramping. I truly believed that ANGS had turned the corner and 1st gas the first of June was a nailed on. I bought the BS myself and I said to myself I would never invest in ANGS ever again after the Brockham Paul Vonk we only need to turn the taps on interview. I am an idiot.

If George is not being updated on a daily basis of progress on works at SFB then he needs to have serious words with his team in charge. Whoever is reporting back to George and giving him completion dates is obviously tripping..

My biggest questions to the BOD would be:

1) What is the difference between first gas and gas production?

2) Can you commence wet test commissioning at the same time as hydro testing?

3) When you ever eventually get the site up and running and passed all HSE and relevant authorities approvals will you be pausing production of first gas production whilst attempting another sidetrack which has failed on all of the previous attempts if I have read correctly?

4) Do you have your private investors shareholders interests first and foremost at heart on your agenda as they are your most loyal or do you favour the bigger fish?

Unfortunately, ANGS is also a risky game - in fact doubly so, now they've taken on full responsibility for Saltfleetby, good or bad.

Okay, Saltfleetby has been a producing field in the past, so it's not a purely exploratory play...

BUT there is the very high risk (and utterly crucial) matter of the sidetrack absolutely having to be successful - and that's being attempted from a well that's had four previous unsuccessful sidetrack attempts made on it.

That IMO puts ANGS firmly in the very high risk bracket - and tantamount at this stage to an explorer play.
