#Angs Q&As
Will the SFB sidetrack be drilled with continuous Gas production or will the gas production plant be turned off for the duration of the drill?

Subject to final satisfaction of internal risk assessment SIMOPS are planned – i.e. simultaneous drilling and production.

1347: no RNS yet. I got up early for it, it’s very disappointing.

Only a few hours to go now to First Gas, all they have to do is turn the taps on and it's boom....

1347: Anguish is hardly a footnote in his CV, what? The real damage was done at NMC. A more inspired choice on the part of Shetty, I’d say!

HITS. - Alephs’ current Angus share holding of 7.19% represents c168M of current shares in issue - soon to change after 13th June ! - suggesting the “other” parties are holding c105M shares between them (273M in total), ie 4.5%, of which NONE are individually holding >3%.

Whilst it is possible they may act in concert along with Aleph, as I am certain they are all known to each other, this reflects as likely within the main market as much as the AIM.

In fact I believe the LSE BB could gather >3% between them. Pity yanis dipped out with his 5M+.

George seemed confident in the Malcy interview that whoever these monied people were they were there to HOLD as was ALEPH - who in turn would want to retain their 2 BOD seats (10% holding).

Future moves will be interesting - but not as exciting as eventual FIRST gas.

Only $2.7 Billion, easy to overlook that, could happen to anyone. Brilliant move by Lucan to recruit him as Anguish Charman, what?

HITS: I doubt the Interim MD would include warrants in the % calculation until converted. But in any case, with the added possibility that Knowe will convert in July, the volume of shares that may hit the market looks a bit much, really. It will take some extremely good news to maintain the share price: EA approval. SIMOPS approval. Completion of welding and electrical work (wasn’t the welding supposed to start in early-mid January and finish by the end of February? Seven weeks! It must be nice working for such a sunny optimist, what?). Arrival of a complete rig on site. Has anyone seen a Twitter snap? Maybe, since the Interim MD watches my posts so closely, he’ll be good enough to embarrass me again with a progress report?

JA51: the only friend in high places the Chairman has got is the Emir of Bahrain, if you believe that and I doubt he’ll help much! Better get the Harley dusted off, what? How he must miss those NMC jollies. All he had to do for them was chair the audit committee.

Noel, I don't know that is the reason any more than you do, but it's possible, even despite George stating to Malcy that just two parties (Forum and one other) would each hold 20% of the company once the dust has settled on the latest mass confetti eruption. If it is the case, then presumably none of the other members of the Aleph massive took a notifiable amount.

However, your theory would raise the issue of concert parties (which there would seem to be in your scenario) - and that would be notifiable. Well, I say "would be"... but that would assume there's the slightest regulation of AIM.

To minorly correct you, currently the Aleph squad only has a maximum of 273 million shares between it and has only outlaid £3 million - the second swathe awaits shareholder approval which I agree should be a complete formality.

It's worth noting that Aleph itself apparently only needs to hold 10% to retain the right to nominate two non-execs to the board, so it'll be interesting to see how much of the company it specifically ends up holding after the issue of the next swathe of 273 million shares.

HITS - You know the reason Aleph are showing only 7.19% from Peters response viz:

RNS it specifies that the £6million is raised “with a group of family offices and private investors led by Aleph”. In short, Aleph did not come up with 100% of the £6 million and therefore they do not control 100% of the 546 million shares.

Did anyone else think it was strange that GL seemed clueless about the windfall oil and gas levy? It would seem the type of thing you would instantly look into if you hadn't bothered to get your chairman to have a word with mates in high places?

If they cant offset those previous tax losses the CPR looks way out!
