you can always tell when jtisadly is worried because his posts get longer and longer , totally discredited, ridiculed and embarrassed but still posting..all very disingenuous. Uclot unsurprisingly disappeared ... couldn't take the humiliation anymore.

Original CPR worked on c. 39p/therm.

Presently gains from mix of hedged (43p) and unhedged (average forward 48p) prices offsets higher capex and associated funding costs.

Current price now over 90p !

JTidsbadly, you must try harder.

Well, I thought they would not be able to negotiate a loan on affordable terms. They got the loan but I was right, it’s unaffordable. The only way I can see that Angus will survive is if gas flows at the rates predicted in the CPR and by the time the hedges come into effect.

Before the hedges apply, they need to find £1.45mm. to repay Knowe (April). In May they’ll need to find £1.44mm in loan interest to the Lenders and £3mm in capital. It appears that the sidetrack is scheduled to take 16 weeks and the interim MD has softened up the market by suggesting first gas from the existing two wells may slip into the new year. So early May, then, for first gas from the existing wells and the sidetrack, even if everything goes according to schedule. It would be cutting it fine, even for competent management. Where will the loan payments come from?

The hedges apply from July. Now, pay attention. There are all sorts of complex derivatives that can provide a hedge but they boil down to three: options, futures and forward contracts. Options require payment up front and are expensive. Futures need marking to market over their life. So I should think they’re forward contracts, for which payment is made on expiry. If you’ve negotiated forward sales contracts, as you would in this case, they commit you to a price on given dates in the future. If when they mature the market price of the commodity against which they’re written is below the contract price, you are paid the difference. If prices are higher, you pay the difference. All this talk on the other site about ICE futures prices is naive. Anguish is selling all its gas to Shell. The hedges cover 70% of what they’re expecting to produce. If Poundland is flowing gas sufficient to match the volumes covered by the hedges, no problem. Though the price will be limited to 43p. If they produce more, they’ll get the prevailing market price for the excess. If they produce less, or haven’t got Poundland going at all by then, they’ll have to meet the terms of the hedge contracts. So if the market price then is less than 43p., they’ll make money on them. If it’s above 43p., they’ll lose money.

So the decision to invest in this is based on these factors: what do you think the gas price will be when Poundland starts producing? How much gas will flow when the hedges start to apply? And how good is the Anguish management at meeting schedules, budgets and assurances? I personally don’t fancy it on any of these considerations. Any one of the three could bankrupt the company. Oh, and where’s the money coming from to pay the interest and capital on those maturing loans?

In a larger company, where competent analysts share their research with investors, the substantial risks detailed above would be reflected in the price of the shares. This is AIM, though, and it isn’t.

He’s not even very good at reading, no wonder he doesn’t venture an opinion on this horlicks. Better call the office for some fresh instructions. Though I dare say it will be more of the same. Gormless.

and to prove my point ...jtisadly "It is, as we know, a criminal offence not to file your accounts at Companies House. He’s nearly a week late." We don't know because its not true, stop fabricating , it is not a criminal offence to be a week late......nurse more meds for him .triple dose and take the computer away before he gets into serious trouble...

you both seem very irritated again today,
its a daily occurrence . having been completely ridiculed, discredited and embarrassed you would think these resident window lickers would have learnt not to fabricate to suit their negative narrative. its only understandable if you appreciate they are of below average intelligence . so expect them to continue to do it...pathetic. angus have you totally sussed out..."irrelevant old duffers get a hobby". priceless.

CQ: yes, quite.

And still no accounts from SEL, Forum or AEWB3. Angus clearly doesn’t want to draw attention to the fact that it no longer controls AEWB3, its operating company, now in hock at Law Debenture. Nor to the absence of funds at its partners, presumably.

CQ: I don’t follow many companies but it strikes me that this shill’s posts could be about any company, just change the names of other posters, and the price, where necessary. Does he even know this is the Anguish board? There’s not a shred of evidence he knows the first thing about it. I suppose with so many multiple identities with these people, one will never know.
