Watch the Video of our friendly Texan and then search the Database of Companies on the "Global Coal Exit List".

It's a pretty sobering couple of minutes watching and highlights what is going on with some major investors already taking steps in fossil fuel divestment.

That's the list which Axa are using to guide its fossil fuel divestment efforts.

It's all here on

QUOTE

In China alone, around 670,000 people die prematurely per year as a result of coal-related air pollution. The 'Coal Kills' report estimates that in India coal contributes to between 80,000 to 115,000 premature deaths annually. In the United States coal kills around 13,000 people annually, and 23,300 in Europe

UNQUOTE

if Rogered-No-Go-Zones thinks that 850,000 coal related deaths is just noise, it speaks volumes

yes, a lot, lot more to write about in 2018.

coal was, is and remains the most hated commodity .

If you do a Google search on " How many people are killed by coal each year", this is what the first response says:

Global investment in coal-fired power plants is set to decline “dramatically” after passing an all-time high during the past several years, says the International Energy Agency (IEA).

Seems to me that coal is a very bad place to be. The seven graphs make sobering reading for the poor outlook of coal.

Hard to ignore what the highly influential IEA says.

3 REASONS WHY COAL WILL NEVER BE GREAT AGAIN

1. NATURAL GAS IS CHEAP AND HERE TO STAY

2. CHINA AND INDIA ARE ABANDONING COAL

3. RENEWABLES WILL BE THE NAIL IN THE COFFIN.

An appalling outlook for coal.

One of the most hated commodities.

Things are just going to get tougher and tougher as more countries turn to greener fuels.

Seems that coal investments are on a very negative trajectory and in my opinion are set to underperform for the foreseeable future.

A dreadful sector.

Anglo pacific is one of the least desirable stocks which I personally can think of.

Coal. largely held to be the prime culprit of climate change, appalling Greenhouse gas emissions and likely thousand of deaths each year due to pulmonary complications due to invasive air pollution.
