My concern here is that if this permission does not come shortly, imminently, the weather in Azerbaijan will start to change !! The TD wall can't be raised in the winter of bad weather.
I think JB or Matt are more qualified to answer this.

I guess they can wait as long as is needed before Azeri gold pick up the remnants of AAZ. Imagine putting a competitor in charge of decisions, what could possibly go wrong!

Not saying that's the case here, but that thought has crossed my mind since they announced that news.

Tombag' the local councils are involved in this politics IMO.
It was the locals that held the demonstrations.
The Environment Ministry has given the permission for the TD wall raise .
It was expected that the rest was just a question of a walk through the park, instead it has been withheld at the moment by whom is the $ 64 question !!

Wise move on my behalf selling Cey at a year high thought they would be a pull back in gold think it will bottom around $2250 with the summer holidays here, managed to pick some CEY up this morning tad over 118 just put a tight stop on at 120p.

Tombag' not yet as the TD permission has not arrived yet.
Perhaps one day the Azarı Government may want to bid for AAZ.
But anything is possible in these times.
