The Government has given AAZ plenty of compensation. Right?

If one believed in fairy tales, one could think the delay was over the company seeking compensation from the government over the costs of a shutdown when the company had done nothing wrong at all. Seems most unlikely to me, but it would put the government in high esteem in the eyes of any entity considering inward investment into Azerbaijan.

Just be patient - this has taken a year now and a week or so more will make no difference. This is not the fault of the company.

wow

saw this on a.n.other BB (gives some idea of who is buying GDR eek)

this person seems to think FDBK went from 1p to £1 (it did in nominal terms but via a i think 100 for 1 consolidation)

You know this share reminds me of FDBK. A company who were struggling to get to 1p and they had this device called Bleepa...nobody on the market had such a device, then the NHS got involved FDBK got a NHS Contract.

One minute FDBK was 1pish, the next well over a £1, because of the NHS. This could possibly happen here.

knowing politicians the local governor will only allow building permits if his cronies are involved in the works. At inflated prices of course. Just speculation, but this is getting ridiculous now. 35 days since we got that RNS saying, shortly.

To my mind the lack of a 'go ahead' letter, is simple contempt. True there may be factors to which we are not privy, perhaps of a political nature, but the company is being held in purgatory for want of a simple stroke of a pen. Why?

GDR grinding higher - looked likely after the huge churn that took place - over a number of days - around late 3’s…

FCH grinding up again. Buybacks every day in size and plenty of cash for that to continue. Meanwhile underlying business firing on all cylinders. Rockwood favourite.

Good plan RB. I am a believer however currently at CTL and in a lot more than a trade level so will let it ride whilst on my hols in USA. I expect CTL to be on a good run end of August with the new mining license issued. Things should start to roll then with takeoff partners having the product to test from the pilot plant and the guarantee the mine will happen in the bag. Once they get the off takes I will sell on the spike is the current plan, hopefully early next year.

lol Pogue, I’m bored so playing with beer money, the weather might finally turn though so I expect I’ll exit soon. The Greek islands as always this time of year also beckon, so I’ll definitely be gone before the end of the month; don’t leave many trades open in holiday mode.

If Carlsberg did trading updates....
HVO trading statement out before capital markets day presentation at 10am this morning.

Highlights
Revenue of £35.6 million, 30.6% higher than H1 2023 (£27.3 million). The Board remains confident in delivering on market expectations for the full year

EBITDA margin of c.24% (H1 2023: 19.1%)

Cash of £37.1 million as at 30 June 2024 (30 June 2023: £31.3 million)

Weighted contracted orderbook of £71 million as at 30 June 2024 (30 June 2023: £78 million), post-delivery of a record £35.6 million in revenues in H1 2024

Quarantine facility in Canary Wharf now fully operational providing the foundation and capacity for future growth

Full year revenue guidance of £62 million reaffirmed with full year EBITDA margins anticipated to be at the upper end of market expectations

If you think the weighted pipeline going down is not a positive it was because they completed contracts EARLY so need to fill the pipeline but £71 million weighted ie risk factor applied to each potential contract, is pretty good as for a company with market cap £190 million with £30 million in cash. I could rant on but watch the interview below. Wee bit happy with my largest holding this morning lol. I am sure the market will continue to ignore it until eventually it works it out. Been a lot of IIs buying lately. Another holdings RNS out today this time Octopus Investments.

All in my opinion, post is for entertainment only, don’t listen to random posters rambling on anonymous websites about companies they hold.

Good morning all.
2SP' there is a lot of news to come out of the pipe line.
I am hoping we may even get an afternoon RNS yet.
The production news has been on time in the past ! I bet there is log jam of various news to come out. The TD news the most important one, I think all of us will feel a lot at ease after the TD news.
I was wondering why a snap election in September has been called. There are probably a lot happening in the background that us the PI,s are not aware of.

It looks like it is going to be a nice day and I shall spend my time in my garden.
The news will come in it's own time.
