17/7/2024 19:04 | No trading for me but practically all my stocks went blue some big time. Been noticing my portfolio climbing recently rather than falling most of the time seems to me the market has turned a little. Hope everyone else is seeing green shoots. | pogue
17/7/2024 18:55 | Nice one pogue! My day ended in the black but only by a small amount. Again I selected stocks to trade and allowed myself to be pushed out of two on a pull back and both went on to 10 to 15% rise opportunities. Other than that I sold one at a small loss because I felt it would go against me and it did. And the positive was a successful trade that put me ahead for the day. I will keep practicing 😁 | all in eol
17/7/2024 18:48 | Have to say that was a very good day for me. | pogue

17/7/2024 16:34 | 2SP' I tend to agree with MF that Demirli should start producing a lot sooner. The BoD at the AGM said it would take around 6 months to get Demirli producing,if I remember correctly, but I feel they will get it going before Q2 of 2025. It just needs the electrical control systems changed that had been damaged. They would need to be bought from the previous supplier. There wasn't any damage done to the machinery. The government departments should be busy working on the electric supply system to connect up the mine site to the power grid. It is the delay in the TD news that is holding everything back. | 2cmb
17/7/2024 16:31 | Nice. They finished on the high for the day. Could be a good setup for tomorrow. From what I can see, they appear to be skint. | bumpa33
17/7/2024 16:26 | Preparatory work has already started. | michaelfenton
17/7/2024 16:25 | All I know that the Gov. is in a rush to see Demerli up and running seeing it as a priority. | michaelfenton
17/7/2024 16:13 | mf Just going by recent aaZ presentation. Noting mine programme graph on page 21 and Demirli notes on page 14 including "Plant repair and refurbishment time estimated to be 9 months" from when exactly? Like, is there a preceding procurement lead-in? or one for Azergold approval? | 2sporrans
17/7/2024 16:07 | Classic Lenigas… | bumpa33
17/7/2024 15:40 | No - not one for me Rb. | bumpa33

17/7/2024 14:05 | 2sporrans - With luck I think Demerli maybe online quicker than that? | michaelfenton
17/7/2024 13:57 | goldrush While i agree with you on Demirli, is it compensation that AzerGov is pretty much honouring its contract with AAZ, plus fast tracking the restart programme? Arguably, just a case of mutual self interest; was going to happen regardless of TD issue. However, protracted stymieing of TD go ahead, driving AAZ yet further into debt, cannot assist Demirli endeavours. Any further knock on delay to Gilar ko, ditto. Sure, if all gets going, say next week, we'll likely be putting all this grief behind us, be Gilar+Demirli focused, again. Just like June 2023.....but better scenario with much higher metal prices, + both rapid and surprisingly cheap Demirli restart, possibly by H2 2025. Increased jurisdiction risk discount? Clearly, a lot. Yet, when the $$$$$ come rolling in and the divis follow on......that tends to rosy up things. | 2sporrans
17/7/2024 13:55 | It would've been nice to get into GDR but shame I didn't have any spare cash. It will be a fun day watching if/when the NHS NICE approval RNS hits. I wonder how many are buying for that event, so they can sell on the spike. Should be an interesting watch. Every time I see GDR I can't help but to cast my eye's back to those East German women, who looked like men. Also AXL (arrow exploration) now doing what many thought it would do a few weeks ago and some became impatient. | katsy
17/7/2024 13:48 | Sorry wrong thread | katsy
17/7/2024 13:29 | Just so you know the postman does not deliver the news it is done digitally I believe. Which of course maybe the problem? | michaelfenton
17/7/2024 13:21 | TRT just making new recent high today and breaking out past a 7-year sideways consolidation. | mattjos
17/7/2024 13:12 | MF, the government will know full well that the most efficient way to ensure that revenue begins and flows from the assets that AAZ holds, is to give them to AAZ. Mattjos, I suspect you are correct. The "Boss" needs to lean in and end this embarrassment, it's making Azerbaijan look like a banana republic! | lefrene |
